I take the tenderloins out as soon as the deer is hung up, so I have easier access to get them out. So within an hour or two at most of the deer expiring, I've got them out and in the fridge ready to be eaten the next day. That's the way to do it. I usually just eat the tenderloins with a little salt/pepper, minced garlic and butter. But frying them like this is good too.

Yeah, just about everyone calls the loin AKA "backstrap" the tenderloins. And pan fry just like he did is the best for the tenderloin.

i always do the same exact thing but it a pan with butter and onions, but i remembered when i was younger someone made deep fried loin and it was amazing so next time i break a pack out ima get out some peanut oil

cking_closure its not from eating it medium rare its because he hadnt fully done a check on the animal for that parasite and 145 degrees will kill most parasites and bacteria which is what medium rare is and ive ate deer meet literally straight from the bone uncooked just to test the quality and flavor of the meat along with its tenderness i appreciate your intentions but its best not to scare those into not trying something based off a single person who didnt check the deer properly

cking_closure and also deer meat has one of the lowest chances of getting trichinosis parasitic worms its mostly carnivorous animals whereas deer eat more of a herbaceous diet mostly nuts berries and leaves

Thats your opinion, but I believe it is the best way for tenderloin. You may be mistaking the tenderloin for the back strap.

What's not a matter of opinion is venison tenderloins, which is what these are, could easily fetch over $30/lbs farm raised. Factor in the time, tags, and gear involved in a wild harvest and the value factor goes way up. No sane person would buy a rolls royce cut of meat at that price and deep fry it. I would agree that value is subjective but all I'm saying is something with that kind of value deserves a little more respect. There is no comparison between deep fried and pan seared medium rare tenderloins.
