Sir yummy yummy yummy . In our house v will compulsorily do this akkaraadisil on 27 th day of margzai month every year. Song is Koodarai velum seer Govinda. In that one line is mooda neeyi (நெய் பெய்து முழங்கை ‌வழி வார) என்று வரும்.

Delectable small portions to be shared amongst the near and dear! Our fav … I usually put for 1cup rice., 1/2 cup slightly roasted moong and 3 cups jaggery. This is the measure : 1 measure of rice+ moong mix this is the measure 1:2:3 , 1 measure ghee, 2 measure jaggery, 3 measure milk+ water mix . Make jaggery syrup then add cooked and mashed rice dal , add elachi, pachai karpooram then ghee 😃

@8.25 Yes. it's in THIRUPPAVAI 27TH .. MUZHANGAI VAZHI VAARA MUDA NEI PEIDHU.. meaning..if take akkaaravadisil in your palm, ghee should flow till your elbow..

சூப்பர் சார் பாக்கும் போதே நாக்குறது சார் என் தம்பி உங்க ரசிகன் நானும் என் தம்பியும் ஒரு சாப்பாடு பிரியர்கள் அதாவது விதவிதமா சாப்பிடணும் ஆசை பவோம் அப்போல நீங்க சமைச்சத பாத்து தான் சமைப்போம் என் தம்பி உங்க சமையலை பார்த்து அவனுக்கும் சமைக்க ஆசை வந்து இப்போ நல்லா சமைக்கிறன் ரொம்ப நன்றி சார்.

Excellent.....Can you try "Vella Payasam / Nai Payasam " which is tradational nevidyam for 'Bhagavati Sevai' Prasada, this is also known as "Eratti Maduram" (Double sweet) in some part of Kerala. Thanks

Sir my grandma used to say, if you hold a scoop of akkaravadisil in your palm, the ghee in that sweet should reach the elbow, we must start licking the ghee from the elbow to reach the palm

Good evening Mr Bhat, We're really like your cooking and very clear explanation 👌 and we're really enjoying you and Kuresi 's combo,always you both are stealing the episodes, well done 👏. We are really upset with this year's final candidates because best cooks are out,especially Mr Muthukumar and Anthonydas but Ammu Abirami and Vithu are there. Our children really like to watch but they really disappointed with talented cooks are out. We are not expecting the best cook is not win the title??? From Europe fans (UK, France, Norway and Germany).

Sakkari Pongal is simple dish where you Cook rice and add suger and eat. Akkaravadisal is an amazing dish that having heavenly taste ,with the all beautiful ingredients mix together at right moment.

My grandfather used to make சர்க்கரைப்பொங்கல் same consistency, after it cools down a bit தளிகை அடிப்போம்.
