Soak sabudana for 30 mins, drain the water and keep it in an airtight closed container overnight. This will give the best results without the sabudana clumping together. And add the ground peanut powder to the soaked sabudana prior to adding into the pan. Adding scraped coconut and lemon juice at the end is also a nice addition.

The sabudana khichdi sounds very good but in my experience it is better to mix the groundnut powder with the soaked sabudana before tossing it in the pan so that the grains remain separate and don’t get mashed
