42:36 Yeah, that ending can be pretty confusing without context. Essentially, Eddie/Venom was suddenly transported to the same room but in a different universe, which explains why the room looks a little different and why it belongs to someone else. We see Tom Holland's Spider-Man on the TV, who is the Spider-Man of the MCU (Earth-616), an indication of where Eddie/Venom ended up. The Venom films are set within Sony's Spider-Man Universe (Earth-688), which includes movies like Venom, Morbius, and Madame Web. This universe exists separately from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), where Sony is building up Spider-Man side characters before introducing Spider-Man... Very hit or miss so far with films like Morbius and Madame Web. Marvel is creating its own side universe with Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (2025). The animated show was originally planned as part of the MCU, focusing on Tom Holland’s Spider-Man origin story, an aspect the movies skipped over since it had already been told twice before. However, it was later re-imagined as an "extended What If...? episode," set in an alternate universe. While inspired by the MCU, this universe introduces many changes but will feature many parallels to the main MCU timeline. Sony also has the Spider-Verse films, which have been widely praised for staying true to the comics. These films draw inspiration from both mainline and alternate universes, embracing the rich history of Spider-Man's legacy, which is perhaps why they resonate so well with fans. Speaking of alternate universes, Amazon is also developing a live-action Spider-Man Noir series, based on the comic that re-imagines Peter Parker as Spider-Man during the Great Depression. This version puts a noir detective spin on the character, featuring iconic allies and friends in a darker, stylized setting. So alot of Spider-Man stuff releasing over the next few years, Sony will no doubt introduce their own Spider-Man as well since what's the point in the Sony's Spider-Man Universe when there's no Spider-Man just his villians and a few allies.
