Journalist Eddie Brock is trying to take down Carlton Drake, the notorious and brilliant founder of the Life Foundation. The fish tank scene was Tom Hardy's idea. Originally it was just there to establish that it was a fancy restaurant, but Tom took one look at it and said, "Yeah, so I'm gonna go in." They rigged the entire tank so he could do it safely, even going as far as to put in fake lobsters with marshmallow filling and chocolate sauce.

This movie was something interesting Sony experimented with. After the disapproval of Venom’s first big screen appearance in Spider-Man 3, they decided to reboot the character and give him a solo movie with Tom Hardy playing Eddie Brock/Venom. Yes, this movie does have some flaws that can’t be ignored. But, somehow it’s cons can also be its pros. I guess that’s why it was a hit at the box office. It took major risks despite what critics or movie haters thought about it no matter what.

The Symbiote tend to inherit some of their hosted personality traits. Hence why Venom was somewhat protective early on with Eddie. Even if it was for selfish reasons.

Just finished watching Venom 3: the last dance, and i love it. It's a movie that has heart, soul, and just is fun to watch, and it makes me happy that one of my all-time favorite characters has a trilogy where he doesn't need Spiderman to be great. I LOVE VENOM. I HONESTLY CAN'T BELIEVE THAT VENOM HAS HIS OWN TRILOGY BUT HERE WE ARE.

I really liked Venom 🖤🖤 thought it was cool and funny and scary at times and very gruesome and Tom Hardy is perfect as Venom 😊 I enjoyed this origin story of his that he is more of a anti-villain / hero and I enjoyed the other characters and the villain. Glad to see you guys enjoyed it to and hopefully you do the sequel and also can’t wait to watch the new movie 😄😊

I just wanna go on record here: Tom Hardy delivered a far better performance as Eddie Brock/Venom than Topher Grace ever could in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3. Tom was physically imposing.
