Enjoyed this movie. Yeah, it has plenty of hate cause it's not Rated R or has Spider-Man. Still the best version of Venom over that Spider-Man 3 garbage. Shit 95% of all super hero movies have absolutely no blood. Aside from Deadpool and Logan. Meanwhile there is going to be a pg13 Deadpool movie. I wonder if people will complain.. but if you look into a comic book there is blood a good amount of it. An most comics if given a rating would be PG. Dark Horse comics were gory AF. Plus Image comics had tons of gore. Personally blood should be in all super hero movies to add the realistic nature of fight scenes. No matter what the rating is for the movie. Just my opinion...

Théo Miossec You may not understand by why I say Venom from Spider-man 3 was garbage. He had no real persona of his own. Nine time out of ten. All you seen was Eddie Brock talking. Venom never spoke, he had no real personality. He was just a shadow. Venom in the 2018 movie was pretty much what I wanted from Spider-man 3. Venom was everything I loved about him in the comic. He actually had a personality.

See, this is the funny thing I was talking about. What you just describe about why you hated Venom from Spider-Man 3 is the same characterization than Venom in the comics, wether it was Peter Parker or Eddie Brook. What you just describe about why you love Venom is just because of Marvel fanservice way of handling the character. It's the same way regarding Doomsday from DC: no personality, no characterization, just an obstacle for our heroes to fight. But because of their popularity, they were brought back and overused.

@@theomiossec1482 It's more than just fanservice. I rather have a character how he is over something plain. Is it wrong to like source material or something made up an thrown in front of you. People would had loved Venom 2018 with more source material over part of it. Hardly any MCU or DCU follow any source material fully. But, just about every comic book character represents some kind of the character from the comics. I go by what I read from comics over what is on a movie screen. In truth there was a lot of things in the Spider-Man 3 movie that was so annoying. But hey, not going to dig into it.
