Sure, he talks a big game about randomness and chaos, but in reality it's a psychological front for his true motivation of getting back against the world that never gave him any kindness or empathy; it's just an excuse for him to rampage and massacre without outright giving away how pissed off he is. Even in the movie, he eventually admits to being abused by literally every family member he had (a fact lifted straight from the canon 616 comics, so it's not something made up for the film).

Don't know why they cut this scene down. It makes Cletus Cassidy seem more like the delightfully dreamed psychopath from the comics. He was fine in the final version of the post-credit scene but he seemed a little silly. This one takes that silliness and makes it both kinda creepy and a lot of fun at the same time, like a good villains should. Hope when the sequel comes out that nobody holds Woody Harrelson back with his performance.

The second one has a much better sense of direction and cinematography then the first one , with Andy serkis proving a unique visual style that reminds me of Sam raimi Spiderman. And the special effects and fight are much better too. But I'll admit that even though the first movie wasn't really well-written it was more focused and better paced then the second one, which felt like an initially 3 hour movie cut in half in editing.

Venom 2 needs to be a brutal film with blood and real physical fights, like in the 3 Spiderman movies with Tobey Maguire. a stupid unicycle I havent watched Venom yet, but I know it’s only a PG13. I saw a scene where Venom bit off the Head of a Guy, but you did not see blood. Normally you should have seen a lot more ( it’s better I don’t give details). In another scene where Riot broke through the body of a scientist with a spear, there was also no blood. Very unrealistic. In that scene, you should have seen MORE (Not going into detail - it’s bettter)

This is such a better version of the other scene. It just feels so much more natural and the payoff means more as corny as it still is. Cletus feels genuinely terrifying and comic accurate whereas in the normal one it just feels so rushed and ungodly awful. Even the last line take here is much better.

Venom was originally part of sony's own universe and he r rated like logan and deadpool but after the success of Tom holland Spider-Man, Sony thought it would be a great opportunity for venom to crossover, however the film was d rated and they thought you can't market a r rated horror film to kids. So venom had to be cut down to be a pg-13 anti hero movie rather then the hard r horror movie we could of gotten. Not only that but the ship between venom and Eddie was liked so much by fans and gotten popular that Sony decided venom: let there be carnage will be pg-13 rather than r rated liked originally planned. Cletus's backstory comprises of him murdering his grandmother, attempting to do the same to his mother, killing a girl who made fun of him, growing up in an abusive household, being bullied in an orphanage... on top of that, he's a homicidal sociopath. This might’ve been cut because it foreshadows how Cletus gets his symbiote. Eddie Brock gives into the pressure, walks into the no-go zone so that Cletus can go Hannibal Lecter on his finger. Venom’s healing factor kicks in, but since he’s got part of Brock’s finger he’s got part of the symbiote, which regrows the rest of itself like a lizard.

Since we're sharing our takes on how Cletus will get the Carnage symbiote, here's mine. Remember that scene when Eddie was meeting Cletus in the ending of the first Venom movie, he is seen writing something in blood.I think he cut himself,to write a creepy welcoming to Eddie,and a piece of the Venom symbiote was discarded and crawled into Cletus's hand,and went into his bloodstream. (If you saw the trailer for Venom 2, you'll understand what I'm talking about)The symbiote knew that the substance they were injecting into Cletus was meant to kill him, so he healed Cletus from not dying from the substance's effects , but also thought it was time for Cletus to transform into "CARNAGE!!!!"

I just show the sequel and I can understand why people are upset by researching this post credit scene. Me as well, I remembered that they introduced the character far more like as maniac compared on how they portrayed him later. This, and the fact that there weren't scenes to show his childhood but just a cartoon made venom let there be carnage injustice.
