In my honest opinion, Let There Be Carnage was a great follow up to the first film! The humor was still there, it was very thrilling, especially with Carnage wreaking havoc, and there was plenty of action for my taste. And that post-credits scene, I remember that teally got me hyped for No Way Home!

The one thing I disliked about this movie was that Kletus and Carnage fought against each other at the end. In the comics, they had such a strong bond that one could mistake them for a singular being. Both are pure evil and combined, they were chaos incarnate.

46:06 well in venom comics there is a cop who got symbiod called Toxin, so he got it from either from carnage or venom, but cause he discovers symbiod's this way he sees them as monsters who need to be hunted down so he uses Toxin to hun other Symbiod's, that's what i heard

I love this movie, cause it's just plain fun (and such a fun love letter to the campy, goofy comics from the 90s). You can tell everyone involved is having a blast. Also, the reason Venom is scared of Carnage being a "red one", is that symbiotes get stronger with each generation, and on top of that Carnage being red shows that it's a monster made of Cletus's blood, meaning their bond is better (at the moment) than Eddie/Venom's

I think both of you'll like the Last Dance, it's a sendoff for Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock. But don't worry, Venom, like Hulk, are CGI characters so the human actors are replacable(for example, Venom leaving a piece of him in the MCU is basically teasing Tom Holland's Venom whenever that movie's going to be made). Even in Sony-verse it's going to be super easy to have as much Venom as they want what with the overabundance of Symbiote now. P. S. a little spoiler, Det. Mulligan is supposed to become Toxin but they retconned it in the Last Dance, becoming an unnamed Symbiote. The Symbiote that made his eyes glow in this movie(supposedly Toxin) left him for dead not long after he's retrieved, current status unknown.

After recently watching The Last Dance, I can honestly say that Let There Be Carnage is my favorite of the Venom trilogy. I remember being invested in this film because there was a lot happening with the struggles with Eddie and Venom, plus Cletus and Carnage causing mayhem. Even the end credits scene got me hyped for No Way Home and that sealed the deal for me!

I actually liked the let there be carnage movie. I forgot why people didn’t. Maybe cause it didn’t have a lot of blood or something. That’s something people complain about every pg-13 based on something violent.

Damn shame Sony didn't make this rated R. Carnage needs to have at least Deadpool levels of gore. 1:57 in a way he is a content creator lol 5:16 Eddie could've thrown Mulligan a bone and brought him in on it. 28:48 she's been locked up, when did she learn to drive lol 39:36 don't care, abuse isn't an excuse to be a serial killer Lethal Protector was the subtitle for one of his comics. 46:09 Mulligan got his own symbiote (Toxin) in the comics.

This movie did try to top the first one, but there were still a lot of flaws. But with a fun (imo) characters like Venom and Eddie, you do tend to push that all aside and enjoy the ride. Even if by the post credits, they use Doctor Strange’s spell to shove Eddie and Venom into the MCU or whatever.

Silly" is really the best way I can describe Venom: Let There Be Carnage. It is non-stop silly and dumb from beginning to end, yet I can't help but get some enjoyment out of it. Also, that mid-credits scene was PURE HYPE. I miss those times when we were all excited for No Way Home.
