God i really hope they dont throw away Dylan's character by the end of all of this, having him grow into this Symbiote John Conner figure is really interesting.

The vibe the series has given is that Venom will evolve into role of teacher rather than soldier and be given to Dylan so they can learn from each other. Peter and Brock will be returned to their status quos and Dylan/Venom will be given some "save the future" quest that won't last nearly as long in the zeitgeist as Cable's quest. As for Carnage, it sounds to me like they're pushing the Good Bomb crap from Maximum Carnage.

I agree with an earlier comment, that suit looks amazing. And I also feel like Black Widow would have been an ideal candidate for some organization if they had access to a symbiote and control over her as well. Which also makes me wonder, because I don't know if it's been done before, but given the healing abilities of a symbiote, if someone were being manipulated or mind controlled in a way like Wolverine during his Weapon X phase, could the symbiote heal and remove that kind of mind control as an outside sentient being.

This is why I don’t like American comics…. There’s no character development and buying comic books only for everything to be reverted is pretty dumb. Every decision made, every change should stay permanent. If they want to go back to basics then that’s when they make other comics. But a main story line should be consistent instead of constant reboots

I like how they recon the symbiote's interaction with corpses. In Marvel zombies Venom couldn't bond with a host who lacked brain activity. So this really does patch up a confusing plot hole.

"I hope Hawkeye doesnt get jealous." Honestly, hawkeye with a Klyntar would be interesting. Clint designs and builds his own trick arrows and gear overall. Imagine what new stuff he couldn't design for the Klyntar to form, and all of them would functionally have unlimited ammo. The symbiote granted super strength and its ability to turn solid would also mean Hawkeye's symbiote could form bows with superhuman draweights and much heavier (thicker, denser) than normal arrows that may fly as fast as normal arrows (if we stick to realisticesque physics) that hit as hard as an anti-materiel riffle, and shoot them faster with the proportionate speed of a klyntar enhanced human if they really need the extra firepower. And if it came to close combat, Clint has shown us what he can do with a sword and other weapons, and how he would be able to draw out any weapon he desires and imagines. They would form a formidable team, powerful in both close and ranged combat, and infiltration, and more. Plus, it would be cool to see more non spider-man derivative klyntar + host combos, show that the klyntar really are a species that have existed before and outside the life of Spider-man in universe.

At 4:35, I think the way it’s playing time travel is that the universe is fated to travel a certain path, so the farther back you travel, the more likely that time will simply fix itself before it reaches the point you tried to change.
