It a simple answer. Needs a girl in a bikini traveling with him and watch his channel explode! It’s true he does have some of the best content on U tube as far as Van Life on the road or as in Chris case, Jeep life on the road. Truly a pro at what he does for sure but again a girl with a bikini traveling with him would explode his channel 😁👍😉 also would be a plus if he commented back on his subscribers 👍😁😉

You're smart to stay out of the water but equally bad is the salt air from the mist that blows inshore. Particularity bad overnight. When I first started watching this vid, starting typing that you needed to head to the National Seashore. Glad you figured it out. It's been my destination in my jeep for years and I have the rust to prove it and never drove in the water. I was surprised to see you cooking and not having to deal with the usual strong inland winds. Often, there's a lot of soft sand along the shore and it looks like you got lucky with most of the sand packed down. What a great setup with your jeep. Also liked the length of your vid that covered so much of our great state.

I’m a newish subscriber so I’ve been watching all your vids from the beginning. I myself just went to PINS and Sam Houston NF a few weeks ago. PINS was crowded (labor day) and it rained, so not the greatest experience. SHNF is fantastic though. Lots to explore, and my friend and I had a huge meadow campsite to ourselves and the coyotes at night.

Texas is my home, and I've never been to Padre Island. The beach just doesn't draw me in like the Mountains and Canyons do. Nonetheless, seemed like something I might like to do after watching this video. I know many people that go there regularly, so I'm sure finding a quiet spot is a little challenging. Thanks for sharing your travels, I very much enjoying watching.

I live on the beach in Hua Hin, Thailand and I remember my times on the Texas gulf coast and seeing your video brings up an interesting question. The sea birds on Padre Island are noisy and plentiful. I remember feeding the gulls and brown pelicans fish scraps after cleaning our days catch and there would be hundreds flying and perched around waiting for a bite. There are no sea birds here on the gulf coast of Thailand. A lonely egret and some land birds chasing the little sand crabs at times but no birds to speak of.

That is a secluded beach trip! We go a week or two AFTER spring break. At Corpus Christi Nat Seashore Park go south along the coast/beach, the first 5 miles are 2/4wd , but after that beware everyone,4WD only. The 60 miles on the beach to the Port Mansfield cut. No facilities..pack in, pack out. It's a great retreat! We go for about 4 days-just fish and chill. Start the beach trek when high tide is going out--the sand is packed. If you go during high tide, the surf will push you up in the real loose/deep sand(real slow going). Don't go too late during hurricane season ...
