I'm a 12th house Leo who started looking for true happiness and love within myself back in 2012. There are two things I did to get me back on the path of loving myself again; do the things which gave me tremendous joy as a child and reconnecting with nature. I've discovered all the love I pour into nature itself, the more love I get for myself. It's actually amazing to look back in the last 7 years and see the gifts I've been given through this process. While I don't have a particularly strong Scorpio placement, I now have the ability to walk away from toxic people and situations, too. To be honest, reading your article on the sun in 12 house people, really help complete the cycle of this karmic situation I was having a hard time letting go of. And I feel has helped me better prepare myself for anyone else who comes in. His energy brought me to your article because I was researching his sun in the 8th house and I found that article, and the I decided to read the 12th house one after his lmaoo “self sacrificing”. The part that discusses the father being absent and basically informing me that my repeated lesson could be for a while that the more I put a man as the center focus of my life, he will be stripped away, really knocked the truth in me. This was so beautifully explained. I’m a 12H Venus/Chiron but ever since I was a child who dealt with the loss of immediate family members, I naturally gravitated towards going within for self-healing.... which for me has always been peaceful alone time. Same with romantic heartbreaks. Now that I’m older & consciously aware, I heal best away from the world where I can process pain from a spiritual perspective that helps me understand it as a bigger purpose/lesson. This was SO therapeutic... (and true). Indeed, I feel like the point of this heavy 12th house activity is for us to withdraw and nurture ourselves, so we can eventually let go. Easier said than done, of course.. But on the bright side, I think that's the difference between letting go in the 8th and letting go in the 12th -- in the latter with time we can truly see the bigger picture and make peace with it. This video is what I needed. We are magnets for narcissists, I’m recovering from a separation from my narc wife.... we are doormats, I need to love myself. Alcohol has been a terrible way for me to escape, it drains my money and energy, when most of my stress is from needing more money. It’s been very tough, life gets harder every single year. It feels backwards, shouldn’t it be getting easier? It’s so tough having these placements, even with scorpio placements and an Aries moon I cannot let go; one reason I probably got into my narc marriage was because I never recovered from previous relationships. I'm late to these videos but since I see recent posts, I'll ask a question I'd love a video on - I've never paid much attention to astrology and a lot has not been accurate for me when I have - but omg, the 12 year ago video(and a few others I've seen on yt) are painfully accurate. While I appreciate the 2 more "positive" videos from 4 years ago, they both are equally as depressing tbh - curious if at a later age in life anyone has actually had a happy healthy relationship because the whole "loving yourself" thing is great, fine, not blaming yourself...etc...but if there is someway astrology rectifies this at some point or if just getting over the past is all there is:) Clearly I don't mean literally no one has a happy relationship, but if there is some other side to this - would love a new video. The problem is: I don’t know how to love others if I view them as flawed human beings because then I won’t like them very much and will begin to have a “take it or leave it” attitude towards them in a very cold and detached way. I always understood people are complex and that technically no one is perfect, but I thought it was good and loving as God loves to be able to know they have flaws but to love them anyway. Now it’s like, “no, that’s wrong. See them and deal with them for what they show you, not for the good you see in them.” Well I thought we were supposed to be moving towards unconditional, Christ-like love? Does God “not deal with us” because we are flawed human beings? I simply don’t get this journey and since I don’t get what and how I am supposed to handle human relationships without in some way being completely disingenuous, then I’d rather escape into my 12th house stellium and wait for this life to be over. The one boundary I was able to set with myself was around projections. I told myself that if someone (as far as romantic interests) is not actively pursuing me or making it known thy care about me and want me in their life, then it might as well not exist. I took any sign of flirtation or connection to mean something was supposed to happen and when no moves were made, it sent me spiraling down. So setting this one boundary is helping (though I still have fears I am being detached and pushing guys away), but it stops me from many of the flights of fancy. But seeing the good in people? I have no idea how to stop doing that without becoming completely cynical and uncaring.

This is my personal observations. I have 12th h Sun and venus, also my sister. I just noticed that when we enter a relationship. We sacrifice too much to the point that we don't listen to people that truly care about you. I think we love very deep. Deeper that scorpio or 8th house people. We sacrifice to the point we are so drained when we break up.. i think its a part of karma. Maybe in our past life we became too selfish thats why in this lifetime we have to sacrifice and forget our ego.

Hello! I hate to hear that they speak too badly about the 12th house (venus), I have it in a square to Pluto, I had a relationship from the age of 16 to 19 ...... the last year that person became a person unrecognizable to me, very dark and with contempt for me.......... WELL WHAT DID I DO IN THIS SITUATION, did I start to investigate with other people if they were seeing the same thing as me about his GREAT CHANGE? AND SO YES! MANY WITH TEARS IN THEIR EYES CONFESSED ME THAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM, WHY DID IT CHANGE SO MUCH? AND JUST LIKE I TRY TO HELP HIM BUT HE DIDN'T WANT TO ........... My intuition told me at that time if I left him alone he would fall into vices and although it's hard to believe today he's lost in drugs and alcohol ..... What hurt me the most was that I couldn't help... I know that despite the fact that today he is in that darkness, in some corner of his interior there is his most beautiful part... we have virtue to see if they love us or not!!! Today I ask him if he loves me or not? and he answers me no! but the strangest thing in the world is that he is not able to look me in the face when he speaks to me... When he wakes up it will have already been too late... Well, they loved me unconditionally, only sometimes not we are all ready to receive or give that love... Another virtue is that we have the joy of truly knowing what a twin flame or soulmate is.............. And They are bonds that will continue for many lives. This experience led me to delve into astrology and something that is very marked in his natal chart is his sun in conjunction with Chiron, both in opposition to Saturn. i have venus in libra (conjunct chiron) and merc in libra in my 12th house. just got out of an almost 10 year relationship and i'm so lost. i still love him so much and he loves me too, the split was amicable, but i know we can't go on like this so i need to let go. it's been 2 weeks of hell. i have scorpio mars and pluto in the 1st house (mars conjunct my ascendant) but i don't think i can cut him off easily. no contact is so hard as we both want to talk with each other still, but my therapist told me to maintain no contact and delete all our pictures together. it's like i'm in the deepest darkest tunnel on earth and i don't see any light at all. i hope time can heal this pain

Having those conditions in the chart, isn´t it inevitable to have experiences that are in tune with those conditions in order to learn with those experiences? "The change" that can happen is being aware of those conditions and being open to those experiences in order to grow and with some luck you grow with someone next to you doing the same inner-work.

I can definitely resonate with this placement. I completely went 360 in my approach to relationships. My last ten years I was in a carmic cycle where I was more of a pleaser and put people on a pedestal. It was so hard for me to walk away even though I was in an unhealthy relationship. I always felt the one to blame and didn’t follow my intuition. I went through many heartbreaks, and never really worked on healing myself before I got in another relationship.
