To be fair Jankovic has some of those iconic wins or close epics against both the sisters when they were in form. She got close to challenging Henin in her best year too. Also, her consistency in those years were almost unmatched by any number ones after 2015 (except for maybe Halep) so I would just say she should be proud to be featured in some of the last competitive years in WTA.

I miss Jankovic. She was one the most entertaining players in WTA history. It's no coincidence that she was part of so many great matches.

JJ when her prime time, is one of a few player that can hang on the court with Williams sisters. She beat Serena several times during her prime time. She's a great player actually...

As a Wiliams fan I have to agree. In fact..besides Davenport I haven't seen a player that could play a match like that against a Williams sister playing at her best or a good level. Maybe Dementieva at Wimbledon and Clijsters and Capriati in some matches. But not as constant as Davenport and JJ. JJ should have won a Slam for sure.
