Verbier Mont Fort Backside Classic - 02.18.2020

Here is a nice run down the backside of Mont Fort at Verbier. The snow was pretty good overall, but a bit beat up in a few places. This is a mega classic at Verbier and takes around 30 minutes to complete, with a bit of sidestepping and traversing at the end.
The Stockli Stormrider 105 held up pretty well here. It's a good overall ski. It's a bit traditional with regards to rocker, camber and mount point. After skiing on multiple skis this season, I think I prefer something a bit more modern with more early rise, less camber and a mount point a bit further forward.

I remember skiing this in the 80's. There were just two tracks, though- my friends and mine.

You seem to know the route well. Is this an itinerary in Verbier , looks off-piste ? That traverse along the lake side looks like a roller-coaster and in that group of people in front of you, one of the women panicked it sounded like. Seems very hairy. Also I have seen video of the steps down the dam-barrage side to exit, no picnic ! Please elaborate further . Was a very nice watch here! Well done. Got great snow too up high!

Where exactly does this take you because lat time I went i saw people riding down but i didnt know where it went but i really wanted to try it so does it lead to like a lift or a village or something

apparently it takes you to the bottom of siviez but i dont know it depends which route you take
