It wasn't tho.. So little was spent on the abuse Jorge endured! I don't buy that this was a "toxic relationship" , that they both dished it out is good as they took it... We never see Jorge abusive. The TV? → a bloke doing bloke stuff, alå _Jackass_ meets _the Office_ (smashes printer into dumpster meme )... ..on a TV that's always been broken (true. Evidence being that Sarah kept getting onto her ex to come to fix it. In fact, the only reason they did "puzzles", imo, was because the TV was broken - and they had spent all their money for internet credit, on booze!*). .. And now, Jorge, thinking it might make a comic video of "raging" over a difficult electronic device that keeps playing up, he records himself busting it up! I could see that. 🤷♂️ → Sarah's stab wound? - that could easily have been self-inflicted while she was fall-over-drunk, and cooking, doing "arts & crafts".. or even threatening Jorge with the kitchen knife! I could see that. 🤷♂️ Jorge in that suitcase... that should have been described in minute detail.... the phobia of being buried alive, shared by us all ... exacerbated by being FAR more restricted than any coffin.... and the injuries from being likely tossed down the stairs... he had to be in all kinds of agony & anguish, cramped into that impossibly tiny space. That's without even thinking about the finite O2. ____________ Furthermore, the fact that Sarah was able to straighten Jorge's corpse out to do CPR on him, after noon, the following day, suggests he didn't actually die until well into the morning. He was hanging onto life, on the brink of death up to as late as noon, the next day! (Rigor mortis only takes 2 hours to begin, and 6 further hours to fully set in ..followed by 24 hours before it starts to alleviate. Jorge was alive, in agony ALL FKNG NIGHT !! And we never heard anything about all of that!! 🙆♂️ Everyone should have been walking out of that court room pale and retching! 😳😳😳😳😳😳🤢🤢🤢🤮😳😳🤢🤮🤢🤮😞😞😞🤮🤮😥 That's what it should have been like . . . @Belleblaas73Ай бұрын
Agree. It is so clear, how Sarah kept Jorge under control. How he needed to do, what she wanted. Who the dominant one, in the relationship was. Jorge got punished, every time , stepping a bit out of line. Those video's on her phone were horrific. She was not scared. Sarah was not walking on eggshells all the time. It was a mechanism of control for Sarah. Blackmail. We should realise more, that men also can get abused. Like in the Courtney Clenney case. Or Amber Heard. Women can be nasty as well. Jorge was definitely the victim. Controlled by Sarah. The boss. Jorge needed to be submissive. Sarah took her game, too far. Do believe, with her drunken mind, that she didn't realise, Jorge being dead. That she thought punishment, like closet, couch, dogkennel. Wanting a Jorge to say next morning: " I am sorry Sarah, will try harder to never misbehave again...". Drunk twisted mind. Stay safe.

For those who believe she was a battered woman, think about this: imagine being locked inside a suitcase, slowly suffocating, facing the terrifying, panic-stricken moments of a painful death. That was the fate she chose for her boyfriend. She had countless chances to save his life-to unzip the suitcase, to run to a neighbor, to call 911. But she did none of those things. Instead, she watched, and let a man die. No matter what excuses are made, her inaction speaks to her intent, and her conviction reflects that.

I'm a criminal defense attorney in California. In my opinion, James Owen's performance was horrible. However, Suitcase Sarah was destined for a guilty verdict because she had no reasonable doubt story. She reminds me of many clients I have had, who thought they could talk their way out of it despite the overwhelming evidence against them. She deserves the highest sentence under the law. She wasted the time and resources of the court. She offended the victim's family. She showed zero remorse. Suitcase Sarah stared into the abyss...and the abyss laughed at her with the strong odor of wine on its breath

Those 5 women in the jury were convinced of Boone's lies and saw straight through them. Furthermore, the tone in which they stated verdict was like a stake through her heart and a real victory for all those, not only female victims but also male victims of real "battered spouse syndrome", and those who suffer from domestic violence. I couldn't understand hiw Sarah Boone was able to go calmly to the suitcase and handle as she did without showing some form of sorrow. To me she was cold and uncaring I had not seen a murder taking place before and i found it most upsetting and traumatic. All the last of his breath and energy pleading for life 😭💔😭

She acted like it just a normal suitcase, PTSD my flat behind. Evil woman.

How do you admit what you've done, film it for the jury to see, make a mockery of the court, show zero remorse and expect to walk away scott free?? Poster child for narcissist.

She really thought she was going to walk out of that courtroom to get herself a nice dinner and a mega pint of wine! lol but now, she gets her itchy, ugly jail clothes with the slides, and a nice, big peanut butter & jelly sandwich with an extremely uncomfortable bed to sleep in for the rest of her life!

She's typically delusional, but she's an extreme case.

Her time will be harder than hard time while she regrets not taking 15 year plea, with good time credits and time served, 8 years vs 20 plus? Tick---tick-

Can we give a huge applause to the prosecutors 👏 they got it right esp in the closing words🙌🏼

Yes! Mr Jay, especially, knocked the closing out of the park

Yeah, they really had me fooled until they unearthed the extra abuse videos on Thursday. And the closing statement and final rebuttal were brilliant. Up until then I was expecting a hung jury.

I actually think both sides were horrible. He did a very good job on his closing, though.

@ yeah the extra abuse was cringe worthy😣

She is obnoxious and evil. She abused him, it's so sad the way she treated him. If she really was afraid, she could of called the cops while he was in the suitcase, she murdered him!

She thinks it was ok to beat him with a bat, and trap him in a suitcase. Depraved mind..
