Rule number 1: If your "allies" don't dare to fight, but they ask you to fight. Something is wrong. They are not your allies. You should not fight their proxy war. It's not worth dying for US/NATO/globalist interests. Rule number 2: Never forget rule number 1

They're as much english speaking than Ukrainian speaking soldiers in Kursk. There's way more Russian speakers than Ukrainian speakers in Ukraine army in the donbass. Ukraine refuse to mobilise 18 25 but ask its "allies" to send theirs to fight in their place. Remember there's still no formal alliance between Ukraine and the west ! It's not worth dying for Ukrainian nationalist interest.

General Syrski stikes again! Once again, the forces under his command find themselves on the verge of another encirclement. The next thing to follow is the issuing of another die in place order. That is his specialty.

An operationally encircled logistics hub is not a logistics hub. A logistics hub where supplies can now only go in and out in one or two directions is also not a logistics hub.

Since 2022, we haven't seen the RAF going for such war of movment. Setting up a siege on the city would be a good rehearsale before Pokrovsk. Minimilazing urban fighting, getting knowledge, and good PR stunt when the city fall. But I bet the RAF will left an open escape road and anhilate the UAF when leaving...

Will the encricled garrison in Velyka Novosilka fight to the last man? Or will they try to withdraw and then get mowed down in open fields? Or will they surrender en masse? We know there will be no retreat command from Syrsky. My guess is that most of the trapped men will die fighting. But after the fall of Velyka Novosilka and then Pokrovsk, I doubt there will be many more of these stubborn last stands we've come to expect from the Ukrainian side. Zelenksy may order his commanders never to retreat from any position, but will the conscripts follow the order? The massive desertion problem tells us a lot about Ukrainian morale. No one wants to be the last to die for a lost cause.
@stephenvanwoert244717 сағат бұрын
Doesn't it matter how much the Ukr. forces know about their situation? For example, if they are deliberately not told that they are at risk of encirclement, they won't push to evacuate or surrender. Instead, they will fight to the death without knowing that they could have left earlier or surrendered.
@51535153515316 сағат бұрын
@@stephenvanwoert2447 I think a lot of Ukrainian soldiers have access to the Internet and they check out sources like Deep State, which will present a map showing the them that they are encircled. (You can see why Syrzki wants to limit the information available to Ukrainians.) But even in the absence of outside information, I think the signs would be obvious to the soldiers that they're encircled. New supplies and reinforcements have stopped arriving; food and water are running out. Shells are flying in from north, south, east, and west. And so on.
@alessandrolombardi932914 сағат бұрын
They will know because russian will tell them. Is psychological warfare.
@martinhuhn781310 сағат бұрын
I think, in case of Velyka-Novosilka there might actually be a command to withdraw, if they cannot take the main access road back soon. The eastern end of the main ukrainian line of fortifications (which reaches to Saporizia) starts just north of Velyka-Novosilka. That is a good defensive position close by.
