I am awed by Guy Clark’s talent. Lately I’ve been slowly learning about Townes Van Zane, Guy Clark and others. And the obvious love these two men have for their friend is inspiring. Thank you for posting this.

Townes is a dark journey. Probably the purest songwriter ever. Townes and Guy were pretty much considered gospel growing up in my family. One of my cousins was mentored by both of them and he told me while touring with Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt is the greatest songwriter and solo performer to ever live . And introduced me to him . Who knew when I got older and became a tvz superfan lookin back on that is super surreal.

These men, indeed love Guy Clarks music and words. And they very well should. They sat beside him, many evening, both public and privately. Their delivery is spot on perfect and effectively conveys the artists original intent. Both of these men have established solo careers for themselves and are doing, I hope very well. Please support their careers, both solo and when they bless other artists with their mere presence.

I just woke up my entire house full of snoozing people Listening to this tune n whipping up a samich in my kitchen,I couldn't help it something took over me and I had to yeeeeeee-haaaaaaaw,followed by a loud sssssssshhhh,from somewhere in the snoring darkness down a hallway,followed by an OH SHIT SORRY!From me back in the kitchen running away with my egg salad samich like a mad dog cyclone!

Maybe you are trying. Out sarcasm? You need to work on it..... if you wish to just hear hhuy Clark. Singing his songs ...then here ..hear? Is what you do... turn this off ...search guy Clark songs ...pick what you like ...done..pretty simple really
