This is a great video showing the machine's capabilities! I am going to rent one and was curious what it could handle. Thanks for sharing!

For professional work I think the BC1500 would be a better choice. Vertical rollers would be nice so you don’t have to sit there and push the trees through with the excavator.

Buying a bc1000xl wood chipper with gas engine is a poor choice. Only buy one with a gas motor if you can get a really good deal on it. The motors can't take nothing close to the abuse the diesel Cummins can take with these. I have first hand experience with both and the gas engines will put up a few hrs but I'd be surprised if it get too far passed the 1k hours mark. Unless u just run smaller brush through it most of the time. If you do removals and shove logs into if often you will see if won't hold up for that long. A Cummins IV seen these run and take major abuse and never have issues even going close to 2k hrs. One of these with a Cummins is just a beast for it's size. Almost indestructible it seems 😅. Gas motor shoot. Get few hrs and have a hot day running logs and what not through it and she will show her true colors. Specially getting close to 1k hrs. If you can maintenance if really well and keep it cool/ ventilated and radiator cleared and cleaned out often then if may last a good amount of time. Iv just seen these gas ones with rental companies and blowing up damn there. Blowing out coolant and machine looks damn there brand new. But they don't maintenance them too much either so. Def helpful if you know how to pull motor out and do quick cylinder hone /quick rebuild on it and slap her back in 😅🤪 then it won't be that bad really. maybe buy a refurbished one for a backup to swap in while u can do work / rebuild while still being able to use the chipper on jobs.

And that tractor/excavator is too damn slow. It's a bad match up with this small of a chipper. Would only be worth renting and using if having a 20" type chipper . Getting a bigger pile of trees before taking over to the chipper to feed on each trip. Too much down time. A bobcat with grapple would of been a long faster cleaning and chipping with this size chipper. A mini skid steer mt85 or ditch witch sk800+ with a branch manager would be good for this chipper. It's a good combo.

Very impressive, this machine is so dangerous of course!
