This is how a chipper should work. A pleasure to watch. I considered renting one of these, bu t it costs $250 a day where I live. This amount can buy me more chips than I can use in my lifetime. Certainly more than I can chip in a day.

You might be able to get wood chips free. Try contacting a tree removal contractor. We always have a list of addresses that are looking for chips and I give them away as long as it's close or on route. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I would have chipped those branches into a pickup then you must know someone who heats with wood, all they need to do is simply fill a paper bag with chips then throw the bag into the firebox and light them or throw the bag after the fire has a bed of coals going. Been doing it that way for years and burns fine. Cheers!

What model is that brush chipper? BC____?
@avontaprice96616 жыл бұрын
That Vermeer brush chipper looks like a Rayco brush chipper.

One is pretty much a copy of the other.

Thanks, Happy new year.

I have a BC600XL. Vermeer don't make it any more. They make a BC700 I believe.

I was interested to see chipper run without being hitched to truck. Where I need to see one up I won't be able to leave hitch but it didn't seem to want to move in your video. I'll just chock the wheels.

We often unhitch this chipper from the truck. It works great unless you're on a hill. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Manufacturer's manual says chipper should be operated attached to the TV, but if that's not feasible the tongue should be blocked and wheels securely chocked.

Swap the valve covers

I should do that. I may have looked at that option and there could be a reason why I can't do that. These chippers sell for close to $20000.00. You think the dealer could set that up. Buyer beware. Thanks for watching and commenting.
