One very brave lady,highlighted a lot of Dublin criminals in her stories, did not deserve the death she got. Unfortunately this country waits for a tragic event to occur to respond. Rest in peace .

Why anyone thinks they are in a position to criticise this woman's choices is beyond me. She seemed like a warm intelligent, funny and very sharp lady with huge bravery, and she paid the ultimate price, how can anyone sit and judge that? It's pathetic.

Great interview. Veronica was a very articulate woman. The league of Ireland footballer spoken about here, must be the same guy that CAB went after, in the aftermath of Veronica's death? I can't remember his name, I think he was connected to The Penguin? He was the 1st guy CAB successfully prosecuted?

The right to remain silent and be the sole arbiter of who you choose to speak to is a God given right; the impudence of this woman to think that Government bureaucrats could take that right away from people. When the Gilligan gang went out of business in the late 90's, there was a Cannabis shortage in Ireland which resulted in a hugh increase in people taking hard drugs, that's what REALLY happend, that was her actual legacy and the net result of her efforts.

I’d say not a brave woman as much as a silly woman. The dangers where very real, she had a son and she should have let the police do their own work . There’s no reward for getting killed, only loss and pain.

Did you watch the movie? The police had no powers to do anything and they were continuing to kill kids with their drugs. She was a very brave lady by getting the truth out and then the public eventually took action after her death.
