For my 9th Versus match-up I will be comparing two protagonists from Infamous and Prototype that haven't been pitted against one another like their predecessors. Who will win, The Conduit Power Sponge or The Perfect Evolved

Coming back because some of you genuinely need to be told that the fight isn't the reason James lost and ultimately doesn't matter. so if your argument is "James would have just ripped him apart the second he got ahold of him" I know, I just feel it was more interesting than "Delsin shoots Heller in the face with neon and atomizes him before the fight even begins" Like I said no matter who wins this fight it's ending in one attack. Delsin just has better options for attacking first.

Your point of contention, the arm rip and the entire scenario surrounding doesn't fucking matter because IT ISN'T THE REASON DELSIN WON. The entire fight, does not matter, Delsin wouldn't let James get that close in the first place and James wouldn't waste time ripping off an arm when he, a fight between these two would never reach that point because both would take the other out in a single attack.

Heller literally took on 3 evolved at once and stopped a bunch of helicopters with thermobaric missiles that could level up the whole NYZ so he could easily beat delsin. Don't forget that Heller is basically black Kratos

Yet Delsin managed to take on four experienced conduits including one that made a small concrete island fortress who could very well cover the entire state of Washington with a wave of her hand in concrete and even took down D.U.P soldiers imbedded with Agustine's ability.

But yeah who ever knows that Alex can not take a nuclear bomb then there a true gamer and for the other play the freaking game and pay close attention to it next time but overall have a nice day. Couple questions: 1. Any particular reason you went with bad Delsin? I thought the canon ending was the good one. No criticism here, just curious. Possible I missed an explanation if it was in the video. 2. What made you think Heller is any more susceptible to fire than anything else? Torching is usually the attempted method of killing for anything stuck in a closed off experiment room that poses a threat.

Plus, the only real buff Delsin gets from being evil is more sustained shots and demons(and its arguably since angels are really good too), and good Delsin still has some ups on evil one in game mechanics like creating illusins to distract and then get sneak attack, by piercing multiple swords into the victim, but if we are talking canon, the Good Delsin in Canon is as poweful as Evil Delsin. Both performed the destruction of castle made entirely out of concrete wich means Good Delsin can still just dissemble people and turn them into a pile of ash, just prefers to spare them, since his peak performance matches Evil Delsins. Also, both get same concrete powers, so he can just, idk, incase Heller in layers upon layers of concrete, until he gets Heavens hellfire, wich judging by how it destroyed dpu castle, if not kill Heller, damage him severely, and then Delsin can just repeat the process again and again until Heller dies. Or he can just pierce threw Jameses entire body because, since, for some unknown reason, that concrete is impossible to get surgically removed, and it also FOR SOME REASON, blocks access to powers, even to other concrete power possessing conduit(if it wasn't the case, Augustine would've just broken from Delsins concrete after he encased her in it)

While I do agree with most of the points you bring up, such as Delsin’s abilities giving him an edge over Heller, I disagree slightly with the Heller rage and how he basically becomes a mindless brute who throws strategy out the window. While yes Heller is an emotional person who lets anger get to him, he doesn’t really become any less tactically minded, I think the example you brought on how Alex was able to lead Heller into a trap does show his rage getting to him, yet during this fight Heller still completely tore Alex apart, Alex being someone who has been using Blacklight for far longer and is way more experienced in fighting with his skill set than Heller yet he still lost to him despite the fact he should be relative in strength to Heller with a far higher skill level. While Delsin is a completely unique opponent that Heller has yet to face, the potential years worth of experience he has from both blackwatch troops and evolved he’s consumed should allow him to at least be able to adapt to Delsin and figure out his power set and a way to work to work around his abilities, especially after the battle with Mercer due to him consuming Alex. Granted all this is my option and this is going off what I remember and isn’t really me attempting a debunk but just throwing my hat in the ring. Otherwise, this was a pretty alright video, tho (to me) the audio is a bit off and it makes it harder to hear you because the music is just as loud/louder and I think at one point the audio cuts and it sounds like something was missed out, around the part you talk about Heller’s whip-fist I think. But as mentioned, not a half bad video, keep up the good work.

0~0 conduits are immune to viruses and plagues, so he can get black light and if he did heller could control him. heller technically has the controls of all infected like Alex so he could summon Goliaths, juggernauts, and brawlers have the armored form, giving him some edge. And most like has a better healing factor than Alex with him regenerated from a blood puddle after the bomb. Both characters are analytical but relain being more tactical but due to sheer combat ability and use of powers Heller would win. The only known weakness James could possibly have is the anti virus in prototype 1. The fire thing was just a means of cleaning as James was weak and is body was getting use to having black light •-•. Besides that there is no Legitimate weakness they have. Also delsin need to have a power source because he can run out of material to use and needs a source to switch.

I love Dishonered, Corvo was actually someone I considered to put up against Talion but that felt to one sided. If I had to pick someone off the top of my head I'd go with Jonathan Reid, the protagonist from Vampyr. Also I don't think there is much if any difference between 1 and 2 Corvo.

The reason I choose Dishonored 1 Corvo is for continuity reasons. His daughter, Emily, is the confirmed main protagonist of the sequel, which is why I didn't play as him.

this is basically Hulk vs Spider Man, delsin is more versatile but he doesn´t have any way to put heller down since he is comparable to Alex Mercer who can Survive a Nuke delsin can die by bullets if he doesn´t get cover James by the end of prototype 2 is bulletproof and one good hit from heller would certainly Finish delsin off edit: forgotten to mention but just like Alex Mercer James can also unleashed the virus and infected delsin if he wanted to or just consume him and gaining his powers It's why he's called a "Prototype"; like Mercer heller has limitless potential, and he's not even close to topping out. The virus isn't done evolving - it never will be. As long as there's new DNA to nom down on he'll always keep growing stronger.

Coming back to this I still really enjoy it. I don't know if you take requests or anything, but a match I've always wanted to see is Fetch from infamous vs Raven from Gravity Rush. They're both side characters in superhero sandbox games that got their own little dlc expansion, which revolved around them trying to save their brothers. Plus it's just cool to imagine Fetch's neon powers and minor gravity and time manipulation vs Raven's gravity shifting and minor energy manipulation

I see this fight being a game of cat and mouse with Delsin underestimating heller they clash for a bit and may be a little 50 until delsin runs out of juice and then tries to get more. Heller realizing that take advantage with long distance attacks like the to real him in such things like the “atomic bomb or nuke” can only do so much when u have an armored form and infected beast to fall back on. Let alone his regeneration

As much as I love inFAMOUS & [PROTOTYPE]. I might have to go with James Heller on this one, remembering in one point of the game in [P2] when he took down a Juggernaut and consumed it giving James the temporary ability to one hit kill everything during the Mission "A Labor of Love". Plus James can't die from rifle bullets but Delsin can, which is weird because Delsin can literally turn himself into a dashing cloud of smoke. None of this makes any sense really in the world of crazy over the top fictional games but I can really see Delsin Rowe giving James Heller a challenge. James Heller might take this with a slight chance, depending how Delsin Rowe handles it. Plus James burned my right arm with will power alone, so guessing trying to completely burn him to dust won't probably work knowing at the end of [PROTOTYPE2], James after consuming me caused a City wide devastator that completely wiped or disintegrated all of the infected civilians within like a quarter of a second soon as the tendrils touched them... I think the Virus is capable of producing something similar to Delsin's Smoke disintegration ability. Oh James can full heal himself without the need to consume anyone or anything if he's outside of the fight (One of the Health Upgrades you get in the game) so what James could've done is call in his Brawlers and order them to attack Delsin giving James time to fully recover again, Delsin can do that too but he would also need to find somewhere to recover quick without interruptions.

Okay dang, that is an epic explanation, but don’t forget than delsin is a “power sponge” and can absorb, and get his abilities. Also, you seem to only bring out smoke into this conversation, but not the rest of his other powers. He can create literal laser beams that can incinerate things, and can also dismantle the particles in his body, but still keep shape somehow to turn into pure neon and run highly fast. Also, he can go into devices, and technology, go invisible, summon angels, and demons(digital), AND fly. The prototype series is more like a super mutant type series, while infamous is supernatural powers. Delsin could obliterate him, absorb his ability, and then absorb him, incinerate him, or try and turn him to smoke even though that would fail.

I just feel James prior military experience and amazing breath of knowledge absorbed throughout the game give him an overwhelming ability in combat experience. He even has a whole stealth training advantage which largely isn’t a part of infamous. That being said I feel James would come out clutch and could easily move if spotted if only through absorption or any of his own movements. His armor is also Misrepresented. I don’t think he could instantly ash James as easily as some of the enemies in infamous who don’t have any of the incredible healing abilities he has.

If heller releases the virus he can infect the super soldiers who have powers similar to deslin. If he manages to absorb one of the super soldiers, heller would no doubt evolve to something even greater then Alex or deslin. Also heller could become anyone he absorbs and if he plans it out he could defiantly kill deslin.

James has no weakness to fire and he can heal without consuming others. In fact his healing factor is ten times better than Alex’s and Alex came back after taking a nuke point blank to the face. If literally any of hellers attacks connect with Delsons body he’s dead since even bullets can kill him if he doesn’t immediately take cover. Also heller can compete at range since he can throw pretty much any thing near him wether at be vehicles, debris from buildings, or even organic beings that he decides to use as bio bombs which would pull desin in the direction James wants him to go. Also delsin my not be as raged filled as heller but he is also extremely compulsive snd emotional and his evil version is still rage filled. Also calling delsin tactical didn’t seem right to me since story wise he never made any real tactical decisions and kind of just jumped into dangerous situations. Heller has actually training as a marine and the experiences of thousands of soldiers plus Alex Mercer in side him. The only reason he doesn’t need to be as tactical in games is because he hasn’t met any one he he couldn’t over power with brute strength. U can still play both characters tactically In both games or say fuck and go guns blazing in both. So In my opinion heller has the advantage in almost every every way. Also delsins demons are are absolute useless for combat and are only really good as a minor distraction and that heller would have next to no problem handling them with or with out brawlers and the brawlers are way more useful. And heller has a stealth advantage to with being able to look like any one he has consumed

If your saying it doesn’t count because Mercer’s body was reanimated by the virus and heller was just infected well then by that logic heller wouldn’t be able to transform his whole body since he isn’t part of the virus. Basically what I’m saying is his whole body is the virus and he would regenerate in the same way and better since hellers DNA was a better match for the virus.

Hellers strain of the virus is the evolved form of the virus the feat would still go to him. And the fact that he regenerated from a god damn crow is the most impressive part. He regenerate from an animal with such small mass with no problem meaning he could regenerate from almost any organism.

After played both prototype 2 and infamous second son i can say that when i played as james, he had a lot more of strength and durability while delsin had a lot more of destructive attacks every attack of him can desintegrate anyone and also more evasive skills (smoke and neon), james is bulletproof yeah, that upgrade was broken asf. Another thing i see people saying a lot is that heller has a superior intellect due to him being able to consume a lot of soldiers and ALEX FUCKING MERCER and while this is to some degree true, this is beyond useless against someone like delsin he has defeated million of super soldiers and conduits with years of experience. Another disadvantage heller has is that he doesn’t that much of ranged attacks he could trow cars or others things at delsin, but this is again useless, Delsin would just turn into smoke, neon gas or video pixels. In the end you can have all the strength of the world but doesn’t matter when your opponent is intangible, and can one shot you by desintegrating you.

hellers mass and density is so high to the fact that he is bulletproof and in his armor even more so which puts the fire thing kinda useless since it's not easy to burn something so dense. Plus delsin couldn't stay in smoke form for infinite time so heller has many chances to kill him plus heller has a bunch of senses like hunting pulse and thermal vision. Heller in this fight is more just toying with delsin and getting what he deserved but if he really took delsin on like he was taking other evolved then delsin would be dead. Heller can throw cars do bullet drops, devastators, spikes, call brawlers, juggernauts and maybe hydras plus he can infect the green zone setting and cause mass chaos and its not like the infected would ignore delsin, brawlers can chase him up buildings while heller cause chaos which in my opinion would've gave heller an 7/10 chance of winning.

I'd say this is mostly accurate, but I think that James Heller wouldn't be so easily blinded by rage that tactics go out the window for him. Plus, saying James Heller is theoretically a master tactician, only for Delsin Rowe to be better with tactics seems like a contradiction. I don't know what abilities Delsin Rowe has to really put James Heller down. The smoke abilities relating to fire might be the best best, but we see James Heller tank missiles with relative ease, while Delsin Rowe is clearly far less durable, and seemingly less powerful in all attacks except for the karmic overload abilities. Meanwhile, James Heller is ripping tanks apart with his bare hands, and I'd see no way for Delsin Rowe to survive being crushed by James Heller's raw strength, let alone a single solid strike, as you yourself said that James could one shot Delsin at the end of the video, along with saying Delsin could, somehow, do the same. I think Delsin Rowe's smoke ability will be his main saving grace, as being intangible gives him the ability to not be hit, which is a life saver, but I doubt that would save him for long as he would have to become tangible to attack James Heller. Delsin Rowe does have more special abilities than James Heller, but I think that also comes at a big cost of only being able to use one ability set at a time, so not all of his abilities can be used at once, and requires a source to draw from, whereas James Heller can use any ability he has whenever he wants to. Delsin Rowe is definitely not a weak character, but I just can't see him reliably beating James Heller in any way. I would give James Heller the win on this one basically every time. Although I think that does change if you use the best possible feat for Delsin, which is highballing the destruction of Augustine's island with his karmic overload ability to be small island level, which I'd doubt the legitimacy of quantifying it due to it being formed with a Conduit ability, and it seems like Conduit abilities "work better" against other Conduit abilities, sort of like magic against magic, so it might not have been raw destructive power that brought down the island. I forget if the island itself was already falling apart or not, but that would only further lowball that feat, especially if the island itself wasn't totally solid.

This comment is old, so you may not see my reply, but I'll leave it here anyways. I think the main evidence comes from voice lines in the final boss battle. Part of it is that Alex Mercer seems like he's coaching James Heller, saying to use different abilities when Alex Mercer is already using said ability. If James Heller dies, there are multiple voice lines showing disappointment. The big one is something like "It appears that I have made a mistake." which wouldn't make sense if Alex Mercer wanted to win. I wouldn't say Alex Mercer "let himself die" but he clearly wasn't going all out in the fight either, and likely wanted James to win.
