5:29 "there's a limit to how much fun....." that takes me back to xmas 1987, Ilfracombe, Devon, The Bunch of Grapes Public House. A small group of us began singing some cheerful song, which others joined in - at which the landlord shushed everyone and told us all to stop. The sound ranging artillery spotting was ignored by British higher HQs, so they shopped around until the Canadian Corps accepted their ideas. They were instrumental in locating nearly every German gun defending Vimy Ridge. These guns were all destroyed or suppressed on the first day of the Vimy Offensive (9-12 Apr 1917), enabling most of the ridge to be captured in the first day of the the attack.

I always wanted to be in the audience for that QI question abiut the balloons so I could point out the elves were wrong. The balloons do not go backwards. They continue to move forwards, but relative to the motion of the vehicle around them they appear to move backwards. If you view the balloons from the outside they will always be moving in the same direction, at no point will they move backwards (until they bounce off something or get yanked back by their tether)
