Well you had me till about 5 minutes into the video as I have one of the first gen pantoRouters. So table top does not flip to 90 and I thought this would be a awesome solution but making the base without the 90 degree tilt may be problematic.

Not at all. You should be able to make a very simple 90° jig on the table saw and secure it to the table with clamps or nuts and bolts as an interim fixture. If you screw and not glue it together you could use the same pieces for the final jig. Use your imagination and I'm sure you'll come up with a great solution. This is a terrific jig so it's worth the effort, with or without the sacrificial surface. Happy PantoRouting!

Thanks Mac. Both Dennis and I have bought enough material to manufacture two sets of both the vertical clamping jig and horizontal router jig for our Pantorouters. It looks like we gonna need four Pantorouter stickers! 😀👍

Or better yet… add some holes to the table that’s native to the pantorouter… and sell that...

Thanks for your suggestion. We've drilled holes in the table but it's not ideal and far less versatile than the Vertical Clamping Jig. This is one of those add-ons that not everyone needs, but when you do, it's so nice to have! The spoil board is great, and the ability to move it around can be helpful for unusual operations.
