Good review! I’ve been very curious about the Verum 2, and you gave a very helpful picture of what one can expect! Will have to check out the nano anonda! I’ve heard the Arya organic, is the nano close to that?

Verum< Nano and the Organic > Verum 2 for more natural sound but then again the XTC>Organic

Hello. It is unfortunate that you do not respond to comments regarding old excellent videos of yours. I am repasting here my 2 comments with the hope that you can see them. COMMENT NO. 1 in connection with your video "JDS Labs Atom 2 Stack - All You Need? » : Compared to the duo iFi Zen Dac / iFi Audio Zen CAN (amp) ? I use the Beyerdynamic DT-990 Pro 250 ohms (in my MacBook Air M2). You say (in another video of you) that the JDS labs Amp 2 "covey a little more maybe engagement, a little more emotion » but that Zen Can is « faster and bit cleaner ». Can you specify this distinction ? I use my Beyerdynamic a lot for listening to voice narration (documentaries, interviews, etc.). I already own the duo ZenDac v2 / Zen CAN and so I wonder if should change to switch to the pile of JDS Labs "Amp & Dac 2 », if it would be a good choice. I'm surprised when you say that the JDS Labs offers sound with a greater feeling of space and dynamics because many say that the Atom 2 is instead extremely neutral, so it doesn't add anything and its main quality is to amplify the sound without any distortion. A personal observation: when listening tennis matches (so in a sports amphitheater space) on youtube in HD quality, the Zen Can's 3D mode is very appropriate (but otherwise I never use it). The xBass button of the Zen CAN is much more subtle than the xBass of the Zen DAC which is too boosted I think. Last thing: I connect the Zen Can with the iFi SilentPower iPower2 - Low Noise DC Power Supply from iFi Audio. -------- COMMENT NO 2 related to your video "Hybrid Tube Amp Comparison (CTH, Vali 2+, MLP) » : So your personal choice (which is very well argued) is the Cavalli Tube Hybrid. 2 questions : 1) I saw your more recent videos on the iFi Audio Zen CAN and the JDS labs Atom Amp 2: even though they are not tube amps, does the Cavalli Tube Hybrid sound warmer or richer than those two amps? 2) the Cavalli Tube Hybrid does not have an internal DAC I guess, so I imagine it is probably impossible to plug it into a recent MacBook for example (?). Or maybe if you use an adapter like the "UGREEN 2 RCA to 3.5mm Cable, 3.5mm Male to 2RCA Female Jack Stereo Audio Cable Cord Y Splitter Cable Adapter", so we could plug the Cavalli Tube Hybrid directly into the headphone output of the MacBook? (the MacBook Air M2 has a headphone output compatible with high impedance headphones like my Beyerdynamic DT 990 pro 250 ohms). This way the Cavalli Tube Hybrid would benefit from the MacBook's DAC (this DAC is surprisingly very efficient).
