Verve Made a Dripper!?

Checking out the new Dwell Dripper from my friends at Verve Coffee! This is a fast silicone flat bottom dripper that is BPA Free, indestructable, large dose friendly, and can fit Kalita 185 sized filters. We really put this dripper (this one is a prototype) to the test by running it over with the Tesla Cybertruck...
I'll be doing another video just on woven vs unwoven flat bottom paper filters at a later date!

Yep but silicone! I really like drippers that emphasize the faster flowrates as there's more dial space on lighter roasts for me

B75 not CT safe so it's no good 😂 B75 good for 10-15g vs. Dwell you can do 15g+ (big boi 20g doses) and bpa free if you care about that stuff

Just chiming in to be clear, virtually all consumer plasticware that is made out of polycarbonate is BPA-free for the last ~15 years. Tritan is the main commercial BPA-free polycarbonate used for food safe wares and is as safe as silicone for indoor home applications. The main advantage silicone has is that it's stable when exposed to UV, which can cause carbon-based polymers to degrade and release toxic byproducts.

How does this compare with the Sworks dripper?

Quite different! This is much larger doses than sworks and is just that fast flowing flat bottom whereas sworks you can play around with the screens and incorporate immersion flavors into the brew

Hi Brian, im torn, Zp6 or 64mm SSP MP for filter? I like clarity and sepereation but *some* body and sweetness too. Stock ode g2 possibly? Help 🥺

the smell of that thing after 1 year of daily use..... silicone is not that great in that aspect

I feel the paper filters will do a good job at preventing silicone odors but time will tell!
