Kyle, I signed into KZbin for the first time in years because I wanted to tell you what an impact your work for the VMF has had on me. I found my way to this channel after becoming appalled at the situation in Cambodia. I have no history or experience with animal care or preservation, but I was sucked into the Cambodian videos by clicking on a random link. I went looking for preservation efforts, and stumbled upon this channel -- which gave me a little hope that someone is doing something to counter the havoc that mankind has wreaked on these creatures (even if those efforts have not yet reached Cambodia). The work of the VMF is inspirational; of course the founders deserve acclaim. But your approach in documenting their work has been so effective. I have checked back daily for the next installment of the "soap opera". I'm so sold on the VMF's work that I'm considering volunteering, maybe not this year, but hopefully next (well, 2021). I hope someone takes up the baton in documenting the work of the VMF. You have an amazing gift for storytelling, and I have confidence that you will go on to do great things. If you can find a way to shed a light on Cambodian monkeys, it will feel like "full circle" to me. I will watch for your next project, and will support you in any way that I can. Thank you!

KAES ASMR I too, think that was wonderfully written! I have watched every season an loved every cute moment of it, the monkeys were cute to! Lol! For real, with out u aaaalllll of the people that follow u an watch would never have had any idea this Foundation existed or what it was doing. I’ve had an amazing time watching the babies grow up, an come into their own, while listening an learning about why they did something or how they may be feeling about something. I don't have to close the Patreon, but personally I can't justify asking ya'll for support if I'm not creating anything that benefits all of you. If I do move onto another project that requires the support of Patrons I will be sure to let all my Patrons know. @@VervetMonkey Kyle you have to do something to allow people to follow what your going to do next especially if your going to Cambodia. I'm sure a lot of people have found this channel due to watching the Cambodia situation, I know that was the case with me. We all know you will need funding to go there and film and I'm sure lots of people will want to help you with that so please give us some sort of contact info like a facebook page or the likes, otherwise how would we know what your doing so that we can view and support you? Its so sad your leaving and I'm sure it will affect the Vervet Monkey Foundation so someone needs to pick up where you left off if only to help bring them some money in as what they do is so important and without a youtube following I fear they will lose funding. Someone needs to help you set up funding for you to carry on the work you do bringing light to the normally unseen tragedy of human stupidity like the damage it causes when us humans decide we want to own a monkey as a pet and then there's Cambodia, that's a whole new level of human stupidity and ignorance. I decided a little while ago I wouldn't watch those video's and I've managed to get them out of my up next feed etc so that I didn't get tempted and drawn in again as watching them is only encouraging them. How will we know if you are going to do some filming out there if we don't watch those video's? I'm not sure how it all works but would we get some sort of youtube notification if you started making video's again?

As for me, I know you will keep filming wherever you are and, since you have an extraordinary gift of storytelling, I would be happy to support your work even during the ‘in-between adventures’ times that occur with all people who work in this type of industry. Filmmakers, explorers, conservationists and the like often have large down times as they plan and research. chakur25 I gave his KZbin Channel link to 2 Production companies I had worked with and they both immediately wanted to talk to him. Send good thoughts on that if you can...they are both heavy hitters in the industry. Kyle’s talent behind the camera and personality in front of the camera would make any wildlife documentary worth watching...and we know he would not sensationalize stuff...which often backfires on the animals.
