The Vervet Forest is a wildlife documentary focused on the lives of the monkeys at the Vervet Monkey Foundation in South Africa . We join the orphaned and injured vervet monkeys in their adventure and struggles as they battle their way through the foster monkey mom program to become part of a monkey troop again. This channel is for those monkey lovers who enjoy monkeys living their lives as monkeys should.

Lots of 'play faces' in this one 😊. They're all pretty agile but this time I noticed more of how strong they are! Those muscles are developed enough already to pull themselves up with just their arms to the branches. That's quite a feat for little souls who are only weeks old. They're all doing so well! It's too bad that they get so destructive and aggressive when they mature. They are so cute and sweet when they are this tiny. Taking care of them until you can find a foster mother for them is probably the very best of two worlds. It is totally admirable that so much time and care is given to provide them with the opportunity to have a life. A life in the wild living as monkeys do. Many kudos to everyone that devotes their time to allow them a real life!

I was born in the late 1900's I wish I was able to fly over and help for a couple of months during the new arrival season. But hey, I'm 53 and have no experience with monkeys. Well..... I've helped raise nieces and nephews since they were born. Have had about 15 cats and dogs. Also have helped lost, orphaned, Waif, and srtay humans for over 20 years. I understand ya gotta donate to name a baby. I have a name for a Boy. It's SQUIT. Squit means.... An insignificant person. Rubbish, trash. Ya know left behind. Please Consider that name. Little boy. Bless you ALL!!!

I can't say it enough, you folks are doing amazing work there. Helping all these sweet little monkey's both babies and older ones. I can't believe how well Rexie is doing. I seen some other videos he just keep improving, it may seem slow but he is improving. Just think about all the little lives you all have saved. ❤this is the work of real heroes. And i wish more children would be exposed and showed your work. It would ne much better for them than most of what they are showed online. I tell you if i was younger i would definitely come volunteer there. But i never see people my age on there lol. But great volunteer work for college students.

They are. They get milk when they are newbies, and when the teeth come in, which is pretty quickly, they get all kinds of fruits, grasses, juices, etc.
