I use to think that painting cityscapes was really hard and I couldn’t go forward to do it but after watching this guy I actually did one last night and it came out pretty good. Thanks for the tutorials they help out so much and I would love to see more.

I have this weird obsession with watercolor rainy cityscape since I saw one in 2018. That same day I picked up brush for the first time to learn watercolor just so I could paint watercolor cityscape the way I want. It's been 4 years and I learned a lot but couldn’t find enough tutorial particularly on this topic. Then one day I came across your channel and it was one of the best thing happened to me this year. I've tried two of your tutorials and could see the improvement with naked eyes. Even my artist friends said I've done better than before. Thank you so much for the videos. I wish you success and hope you get more subscribers. My English is not good as it’s my third language. I hope you understand my long ramblings :3

Beautifully done, I’m in love with your music, it just takes me somewhere else…
@aprildegele151024 күн бұрын
This is a style I didn't even know I liked until I watched you. It speaks to my soul and I love that, especially when the background music is smooth Jazz. Not that into Jazz, but it just seems right. It also warmed my heart that you use your hand to wipe your brush. I do ALL of the time. Also, almost every t-shirt I own has some kind of paint on it. I've left my acrylics to dry to go get dinner with paint on my hands (because I fingerpaint a lot) and my face, and sometimes my forearms or elbows. Yes, I have an apron, but that's just for wiping my brushes on 😁

Brilliant piece of work, and such valuable lessons to learn! What strikes out to me are two things that a beginner would find very difficult to get an instinct for... First is the power of suggestion.. exactly which visual shapes give the best suggestions for specific objects... and second is layering of the paint... knowing what to do when and more importantly, how to ensure that the next layer will complement the previous.. you do it so effortlessly that it almost seems magical!! Just watching you do it is a huge learning!! Thanks so much 🙏

Thanks for this outstanding tutorial. Every single step seems so easy the way you teach. I think the most important is DRAWING, reason why so many paintings are poor by dabblers, drawing is neglected. I will start to learn how to draw cars the way you explain it. Thanks 👍

i actually did it! it came out pretty good. I am so new at this, but since I have been studying your techniques and practicing them with you, the improvment is more than I could have hoped for. The limited color palette has forced me to figure out how to produce varying shades of grey and other tones. finally getting a handle on water control thing. I am excited to continue painting with you! Thank you so much...so much fun.
