I absolutely love Clayton Homes. But why do some manufacturers put the vents in the ceiling and some in the floor?

If your in a warmer climate the vents in the ceiling makes sense because cool air falls to the floor, making the AC more efficient. However where I’m at I would run the AC maybe 10 days a year, but my furnace will run 7-8 months a year.
