oh my goodness thank you so much. The people that installed mine put the fan going in the wrong direction just like you show here.
@lakechocolate97854 жыл бұрын
Same problem, but different solution worked for me. I'd like to thank this guide for pointing me in the right direction. What worked for me was basically, cleaning the fan with soapy water and vinegar, plus spraying some wd-40 on the bearings of the fan. For an even thorough cleaning, use a degreaser, like Simple Green.
@JonaHanz-u2hix4 ай бұрын
I suggest you do not use any degreaser around motor bearing. It will get rusty easily. Just squirt WD40 and wipe.

Interesting! I had no idea you could rotate an interior fan like that. I have the first of two contractors coming out in two weeks and the second one in three weeks to give me my condo renovation estimates. I'm gutting the kitchen, bath and installing new flooring. I would like to mount a microwave above my new stove like this, so I guess I need to make sure the fan is in the right position!

Cool video. I Like your Leatherman tool too. Good to know about the motor rotation on the microwave.

They have been living with that noise for years and were about to get a new microwave. The leatherman charge is awesome its close to the leatherman wave but has better steel for the blade.

Love the Geissele hat, Bill makes some awesome stuff!

You must really know your stuff to be able to pick out a geissele hat. I have their triggers in all my ar15s and ar10s
@leadpersuasion6 жыл бұрын
The Handyman Haha, yeah I really dig their triggers and rails. What kind of Ars do you run? Also, think it would be really cool if you could do a live show once in a while and us all have a chance to get to know you better. Just a suggestion.

I have built most of them from parts. I have one I made for an 80 percent lower that has a 10 inch barrel and a Sig Brace stock. I have another 80 percent lower that I have a long range 223 wylde upper made for. I just need to take the time to finish it. I also hunt with an custom ar10 in .308 I use it as my main hunting rifle.
@leadpersuasion6 жыл бұрын
The Handyman Sweet! Yeah the .223 Wylde is a great caliber. My next AR will probably be a PWS MK 111 with a Saker suppressor.

Handyman, my microwave door wouldn't stay shut. Something with the latch. It is otherwise a great microwave. Can a repairperson fix that? Also, I replaced it with a used Black&Decker microwave; but the door makes a loud noise when it latches shut. Can anything be done to make it quiet?

Gas ranges need to be vented to outside air. Maybe you can inform the home owner and get more work done.

What microwave you fixed? Can you say which brand?

I believe microwaves come new set up to run room exhaust. Someone changed the blower cage direction but had no clue what they were doing or then decided not to install external venting. LOL

Handyman, Where's your Amazon product link for the Leatherman Charge TTi? My brother-in-law carries the same model and he swears by it, he never leaves home without it...similar to you! The size of the Charge, Supertool 300, and another model is fantastic, the big frame makes it a really heavy duty and practical tool in my opinion, other makes/models not so much. He also got me wearing a Casio ProTrek...it's been going strong for eh 5 years this coming November. It was a gift from the wife a week before our wedding.

You would be better off venting the microwave out the back or through the top out if possible. No exhaust fan is the worst possible scanereo in my opinion.
