Can you eat the dried limes once they are soaked and cooked? I have been cooking middle eastern food for a while and realise they are used lot but nobody has ever answered that question.

@thedesertdancer Жыл бұрын
@@jkthebabystarcandy97 It doesn’t taste bitter when it is cooked well according to the recipe. If you don’t like lemons or lime then you may not like most Persian Dishes. However, I think you need to make this dish and try it or try it at a Persian restaurant. I have a lot of friends who judged it before trying this dish. Once they tried this dish, they loved it and then they learned how to make it.
@merk9569 Жыл бұрын
@@thedesertdancer. I grew up eating Cuban cuisine that uses a lot of lime or lemon, which I love. If I am eating at a South or Central American restaurant that serves any meat dishes with lime or lemon, I always order it. I love Middle Eastern cuisine but have never had Persian because there are no restaurants in my area, even in the metropolitan area. I will try my hand at cooking it. I just ordered dried lime and other seasonings online. I am becoming a vegan so am looking for vegetable dishes. I will not be such a strict vegan that I don’t try meat in the cuisine from other cultures. I find that you can learn a lot about the people and culture from their cuisine. I will be learning about dried limes, fenugreek and the chives used in your recipe because I am unfamiliar with all of them.). Thanks for sharing your cuisine and cooking skills. 😊

@aaliyev21676 ай бұрын
@@nima8371 Azerbaijan is not a small country. All north west Iran is also Azerbaijan. Please think over why azerbaijani cuisine is absolutely identical to the cuisine of South or Iranian Azerbaijan but not to Horasan, Kurdistan or Isfahan or Meshed cuisine. It’s very simple. Because the same people, with the same language and traditions live on the both banks of Araz river. And moreover remember Afshars and Gadjars, the royal dynasties of Persia. I guess you know about their ethnic origins. Just remember the mother of late Shah, her surname was Ayrımlı from ayrım tribe. She was born in Baku. Remember the last Shahbanu Farah. Her mother tongue is azeri turkish. Remember what the language has been used by Shah Ismail the First when he wrote his poetry. So Nima hahım who you are after all of these. Iranian or Azerbaijani🤣🤣🤣
