I have just spent the last 3 days watching these restoration videos. I just moved from southern California to Naples Italy. In the past I had two 1984 Honda Aero50 scooters, but always wanted the real deal, a classic Vespa. I think with these videos I am going to dive in. You know what they say, "When in Rome!". I have always enjoyed watching restoration video series, these are some of the most complete I have seen. It's always a pleasure to watch a master at his craft. My hats off to Steve and Robot! Clearly enough hands on experience through years and years of rebuilds. Enjoyed the touched of humor as well. Also the mutual respect shows through. Nice work

I just bought a P200E that I'm having restored (no time to do it myself), but watching this video series has been great. I've learned so much about how the bike was put together in the first place and what's required in a proper restoration. I'm a much smarter consumer than I was four hours ago. Thanks Robot and Steve!

Thank you so much for this and particularly the detail you've gone into. There had obviously been many unsteady hands on our bike over the years so this was immensely useful in getting ours back together the way it ought to be.

Great videos guys! A ton of knowledge between you two! I am restoring a 1980 P125X US Spec this winter. Can I simply swap a Euro Tail Light for the Ginormous US Spec Tail Light? If so, what parts do I need for the conversion? Keep up the awesome work!

Hi thanks for the video upload..i love ur channel few days ago I brought a 1979 Vespa 125 P can u please help me out with ur words of wisdom 1st all its hard to shift through the gears I notice. Where gear oil goes that area covers with old oil , back break almost no break , only head light works no signals no horn no neutral light no break lights and. Speedometer not working any suggestions where to start the diagnosis??
@VespaMotorsport4 жыл бұрын
It's a little hard to diagnose all your issues over the internet since there are so many variables with these old scooters. However, you should check out our latest series of videos where we completely go through a 1978 P200 (very similar to your scooter). I think these videos will get you well on your way to getting your scooter back on the road! Thanks for the support. kzbin.info/aero/PLmZN6ewY34hgy1Mf3XPtBlNM4Pw39ZkHb
