Just baught a very early Vespa V90 here in south wales. Its very laggy in acceleration so about to start investigating. These videos are great!

i'm not a big fan of the 4 plate clutch on these engines, i've had similar problems.

Yes it was disappointing as these things are meant to be an upgrade.

my smallframe clutch lever can't press the pushrod deep enough so that the clutch can be free to change gears, can you tell me what is the cause?

Hi, difficult to diagnose at a distance, have you changed the clutch plates recently?

I suspect that the clutch friction plates are too thick and stopping the clutch from clearing.

@@oldnutsgarage Yesterday I opened the clutch and it turned out that the friction plate was uneven and I replaced it. as well as the clutch spring with the new one.
