I don’t even own a GTS, yet I appreciate Robot’s thorough, informative videos. A true professional willing to share his wealth of knowledge, and time, with the scooter community. Thank you!

At 1:28 - pretty much all the big KZbin car influencers also recommends cutting the oil change interval in half. I don't hit 3000 miles in a year so I actually change my oil once / year.

You’re using motorcycle-rated oil even though the Vespa doesn’t have the wet clutch that motorcycle oil is designed for. Do you consider it better for Vespas than non-motorcycle oil? The same?

Robot, Any thoughts on oil weight if my GTV Sei Giorni is ridden at 100 km/hr (60 mph) consistently on highway in hot weather? Is 5W 40 heavy enough?

Do you ever change the strainer o-ring? They are a 20.35mmx1.78mm on mine and like $0.02 from oringsandmore

Use shell 5w40 motorcycle oil. It's far more better than Castrol bike oils. Nothing is more better for you scooter than shell oils.❤❤❤

If you’re changing the oil at 3000 miles then a filter change at 6000 miles is fine.
