I wouldn’t have an issue with Wicked Implement not being able to slot in the Anti-Barrier mod if it showed that it actually was Anti-Overload intrinsically. Sure, it says it slows but that’s only after precision hits. You don’t normally need to do that with other overload weapons. If you look at other exotic weapons, they typically have the anti-whatever champion symbol next to it. Just let us have fun for a season Bungo… then you can snatch it away.

It’s the status debuff doing the stunning, not the gun. That’s why it doesn’t have the symbol. Devil’s Ruin and Le Monarque specifically state they stun a champion type as part of their Exotic perk. Wicked Implement just applies slow which slowing eventually leads to Freeze.

That would be awesome for Mida, it would truly be a jack-of-all-trades utility weapon. I would argue against it being overpowered because mida on its own isn't very impressive in the end game, and you still need something to actually hurt a champion.

As someone who jumps back and forth between m&k and Controller a LOT moment to moment, another fun little bug I didn’t see mentioned; the turrets in onslaught that you can control? On mouse, right click zooms but left click will not shoot the weapon. On controller, right trigger shoots, but left trigger will not aim in. It was so funny when I tried the turret for funsies last night and had one hand on mouse one hand on controller for a second jsut to get it to function 😭😂

with wicked impliment, back when it was anti barrier scouts, it did the barrier and unstoppable stun, but left overload. it's hard coded to only allow up to 2 stunables so 1 weapon can't stun everything

@@Pfirsichkran thats irrelevant....... wicked implement has the verb "slow" when hitting precision hits which intrinsically stuns overloads and this season has anti barrier. funny thing is last episode you could literally use wicked implement + radiant and do both barrier and overloads....... the same way polaris lance was doing scorch/ignition for unstops and barrier from radiant. polaris has the scorch verb same as wicked implement having the slow verb The thing is polaris and wicked work the same....... both require precision hits to apply there verb and both functioned from radiant last season being capable of doing both things. wicked implement doesnt even apply its verb till after several precision hits so non precision hits dont EVEN APPLY SLOW so therefor barrier mod should work, the same way polaris lance doesnt apply its verb on the first shot (but every 4th-5th) so again worked with barrier because its initial functionality from 1st shot couldnt apply unstoppable

@@123TheCloopyou just answered your own query. Bungie made it so that a weapons can only stun two types of chanpions max. Polaris by itself only stuns Unstops and then it stuns Barriers while radiant. When you have overload scout mods, radiant doesn’t pierce champ shields. Wicked Implements stuns overloads after a couple shots but keep hitting crits while Creeping Attrition is active and it feezes. Shattering a frozen target stuns Unstops. WI intrinsically stuns two champions just for htting crits. By its nature you can’t have it stun barriers

Cross, I’d say ice breaker will be really good because of: 1. The exotic can gain ammo not only from weapon kills but also abilities, 2. The weapon can gain more ammo by killing powerful targets, and 3. the exotic can not only be good at ad clear but also has utility by being capable of proccing ignitions All this automatically makes me happy

The only weapons that can't are weapons that have intrinsic champion perks like arbalest or malfeasance. Even legendary weapons that have chill clip can do all 3. Riptide can do all 3 without ANY artifact mods. Pick any exotic or legendary weapon that can trigger ignitions, weaken, jolt, blind......they all benefit from artifact champion mods.

The new sniper from the raid (one with chillclip) LITERALLY had anti barrier sniper last episode (which worked) and again could both overload/unstop champions + barrier Polaris lance can scorch/ignite and benefit from radiant doing barrier/unstoppable.

Conditional and WI not being barrier is a HUGE L… critical anomaly got barrier last season and also has slow… in fact, conditional DOES NOT have slow as a subclass verb IIRC, and only utilises stasis verbs (shatter) when landing all pellets. It immediately freezes, but that will NOT stun an overload champ. Masssssssssive L.
