VesselView Mobile on Mercruiser Black Scorpion with PCM Fault Tables

I was looking to buy a VesselView Mobile for my 2007 mercruiser black scorpion engine and could not fine any information on this combination online. I bought a VesselView Mobile and it was one of the best investment I made for my boat.

It took 10 minutes to install and gave me a lot of information from my engine computer (aka PCM or ECU).
I have included in the video the Fault Code Tables so you can use the the fault codes and translate it to the actual problem and fix your own boat. I installed it right after I took my boat back from the dealer and had him connect to the engine computer and telling me he fixed everything (I payed him over $3,000). Once I installed it I found that the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and oil pressure sensor were crossed. It took me 30 minutes of online research to fix it. Well... I will need a new boat dealer.

thanks for adding the tables to the end of the video. I am getting fault 521-24. I am guessing it is the temperature sensor, but the parts guy at my local dealership said they never go bad. The wires look fine so... I would love to be able to print off the tables. Do you have them or can you point me to a website that does? Thanks.

I'm sorry but I cannot post these least you are welcome to pause the video and print screen. Regarding your specific fault 521-24 means that the connectors are open. A simple test will be for you to disconnect the electrical connector from the temperature sensor and using a jumper wire touch the two pins in the incoming connector (not the sensor end) the fault should change to number 25 indicating a short circuit. If that's the case then your wiring is good and you will need to change your temperature sensor if you did not see a change you will need to check if there is a broken piece of wire from the computer to the connector. You can find these sensors online (aftermarket) for around $25.

@@ItaiLeshniak the sensors and the wires are OKAY. The thermostat was stuck open. I replaced the thermostat today. I’ll take it out soon and run it for a while and hopefully the check engine light will go off and it will stop throwing that code. Thanks again

fuel level sensor? what's this and where and how much?

Your fuel level. it's not connected in 90% of the boats since they use an independent fuel gage. You can ignore this error.
