Shout out to all the Vets and their families. My great-grandfather was in the cavalry in WW1, he rode his trusty steed through clouds of mustard gas and somehow came home. His sons, my grandfather and great uncle both served in WW2. My great uncle was a pilot and his plane was shot down over Tokyo. There were no survivors. He is buried in the Punchbowl in Oahu, HI. God Bless all who have served and given all. Thanks Other Robert for caring about these forgotten heros. ❤

My grandfather and great grandfather were in the Norwegian resistance in Narvik during WW2. Thank you for honoring the veterans who gave their all. Lest we forget❤

My husband a disabled vet his gravestone was getting really mossed hard to read I was trying to figure out what to do. Next time I came out with flowers someone had cleaned it like new. Thank you Robert. I've been watching for the Jones name to come up. I know it's a common name but my gr-grandfather was born in Washington Co. Georgia. He left quite a bit of family there. His father was Abel Jones. He was listed on the 1860 census, but was not on the 1870 census. This could be one of his descendents. My gr-grandfather was William Alexander Jones. He ended up in Oklahoma.

Great job cleaning William's stone Other Robert. Thanking him for his service and you for cleaning. I looked online and it looks like he passed away from stomach and liver cancer a short while after surgery. I could not locate a service record. WWI had begun the awful use of chemical warfare therefore I was not too surprised about his reason of death. Is that his photo in the thumbnail, Robert? 😓❤👍👍
