I was told by a vet that the outcome of a recovery doing CPR on a dog is very slim.

Should the tongue of the animal be out?

I'm not sure if you're only doing compressions, but if performing rescue breaths, the tongue of the animal should not be out of its mouth as you want a good seal and to ensure air goes into tge lungs rather than escape out the mouth

Omigahd, one-handed compressions -I feel like my hand would get so tired so fast.

Those compressions are absolutely not going 1/3 to 1/2 the depth of the chest. I know this is just a demonstration but…
