@@ricotalkheavy8133anytime you enter a space and you have to enter through a door make sure you hold him back and you enter first… letting them know you are the leader… also do leash training and keep him at your side and treat him whenever he walks by yourside without pulling. Theyll naturally start to look at you for direction.

I don't mind that my 2 dogs follow me... EXCEPT I'm extremely ADD so I'm constantly turning on a dime because I forgot to grab something. And every time I turn around, no matter what direction 1 or both are still in my way. I lose things several times a day so I'll walk from room to room, they follow me the entire time. I love them and that they love me so much but ughhhh some days its so aggravating. 😫 Plus you'd think they'd get bored walking in circles with me 10 times a day!😆

I had a stray I adopted that followed me everywhere. If I went up and down the steps 15 times, he would go up and down 15 times as well. I used to refer to him as my shadow too. :)

We have a rescue from age 1 year old. She was chained outside to a trailer for most of her first year. The day she came to our home, and was free to run, she ran for joy and bonded with us on the first day! No more life outside & alone. They know more than people think. Luna knew she was home. Now at age 9, she always wants to be near her people. And she waits for us when we go to work keeping a watch inside the house. We are grateful every day for her life with us. It's about the LOVE. I don’t think you saw my post from 3 years ago when I told you thank you. I used the 5 herbs and oils on my dog because she had cancer. They told us it was an aggressive cancer and we needed to start traditional treatment right away. We decided to try the stuff you were using for your other dog. Long story short she no longer has cancer, she’s still alive and we never went the traditional route. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

They follow us everywhere because they love us and they want to be near us and I wouldn't have it any other way. The happiest parts of my life have been because of my dogs. Dogs are a blessing in this life and if you are lucky enough to have one or two or three or however many you can, just enjoy them and cherish every minute, even when they are right under your feet. Sadly they are only here with us for such a short time and when they are gone you will so miss not having them right there with you. God bless all the animals, especially dogs and all the wonderful people who love them!!

I think it's called LOVE. Your pet follows you because she or he loves you and TRUST you. I believe that goes pretty much for everyone. My cat follows me everywhere too. Every time our pets come to us, we great them with a warm friendly hello stroking them a little. Pets love that. Pet feel love when we behave in a loving way. If by any chance that a pet would happen to have some anxiety and that is the reason a pet follows its owner, it's because the pet TRUST the owner and FEEL SAFE with the owner. *+ Animals have thoughts, emotions and feelings like us human beings. +* I love your videos. One of my dogs is a rescue from a backyard breeder that I adopted when he was about 6 yrs old. He must have me in his line of sight at all times. Even if I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, here he comes....peeking around the corner of the door to make sure I'm still here! I've had MANY dogs and cats over the years and they have ALL followed me where ever I went in the house. One time I climbed a pull-down ladder to go up into the attic. While up there looking for whatever it was, in a little bit all THREE of my cockers had climbed the ladder and was up there with me. I lost my shadow and best friend to cancer last month. Tillie was a 9 year old mini long haired doxie who we raised from 8 weeks old. We had the same kind of bond as you and Tula, so much so that she somehow knew when I had cancer and needed her extra attention during the treatment. She would lie on or next to me, bringing comfort and smiles. She also knew a day before our plans to go somewhere, and would not leave me out of her sight. My wife called her my 'shadow'. We even tried spelling certain words that got her excited like boat, bye-bye, and camping but she still knew it. It was on her last day that I came to realize this connection was truly symbionic... she told me it was her time and needed me to be her best friend to end the pain. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do but grateful she helped me through it. Some people believe that animals have no souls and try to explain this strong bond with scientific explanations like imprinting, positive reinforcement, breeding, anxiety, etc. I believe animals do have souls and some can love unconditionally without words... all you have to do is look into their eyes. I have a 17 year old paralyzed deaf pug. He is a love and doing quite well for his age. We never leave him alone anymore, but he howls at the door when I am gone, so I so appreciate his need to be near me at all times, and I try to grant his wishes and have dog beds near every place I sit so he can scoot around the house and stay near me at all times. When we first got our dog she cowered in the far end opposite us because she had been severely abused. Over a few months she warmed up to us and now sometimes sleeps at the foot of our bed and follows us around a lot. We love her like our daughter

Hi Dr. Jones, my (3 yr. old) deer head chihuahua, Sunny, follows me everywhere, too. He is so smart and quiet (no barking unless he thinks there is an intruder) and usually knows by my actions what or when I am going outside or in the kitchen fixing food (he waits at the entrance of the kitchen looking to see if food is for him). Pack animals. We are there pack. My Great Pyramids mix was our herder. He had to work hard taking care of us. We called Irwin our watch dog. He had an internal clock and a strick internal schedule. He would smile and lightly bark telling us to go to bed, that we were up too late on a Saturday night. Like a little secretary or nanny. Great dog.

They follow us because they are bonded with us and want to be near us. And I’m sure curiosity plays a roll, especially if they think there might be something in it for them at our destination. That’s what I’ve observed over my 59 years with multiple dogs almost always. Mainstream science has lied from the beginning. Ignore what they promote. I was taught in school that dogs could not think or feel, and only responded through instinct. I was only seven years old and I knew they were peddling lies.

I have 2 Rottweilers 1 male and 1 female. My female could live her whole life on the couch without a care in the world. However my male is literally glued to my hip 24/7, ( I’m a stay at home mom.) bathroom, shower, outside, kitchen and bedroom. What I love the most is when I go to put my 3 year old down for a nap I won’t let him in the room with us. So he will literally sleep right next to the bedroom door until I come out. He sleeps next to me every night, always. Even if I’m doing dishes he will sleep on the hard tile floor next to me. Never have I had a dog like this, truly wonderful, sometimes a little annoying but I wouldn’t change t 💕

Three dogs here, the one I adopted when 12 wks old (chihuahua) doesn't follow me like the other two do. I got my GD's dog at age 5 months, Jenny took her "everywhere" with her, so yeah she naturally follows me; The Yorkie I adopted at 10 months old is 'my shadow', she watches me & knows my every move. I tried tricking my Yorkie once when all 3 dogs were outside because the latter two love going for car rides, so while they were outside I put on my jacket & hat & put keys in my pocket, I called the dogs to come in & nope, my Yorkie wouldn't come in....did she notice I'd put on a jacket & hat, lol....I think so. Of course I ended up taking my girls on a car ride to town. Yes they all 3 follow me into the bathroom, LOL and my bathroom is very small, of course they end up leaving, except for the Yorkie.

I had a German Shepherd who used to always want to be with me. I have the chewed up door knobs to prove it, inside and out. If I was outside he wanted to be outside and if I was inside, he wanted to be inside. If I didn't open the door for him, he would do it himself and munched on the door with his teeth, until he got it open. He also would track me. I would hide and watch him follow my scent until he found me. I have three dogs now, who all want to follow me to the ends of the Earth. It's nice to be so loved : ). We still have chewed up door knobs. They are warm reminders of him and I think the burglars would think twice about coming in when they saw them too : ))!

I found a lost pit bull (big pup) last week and she was with us for 4 days when her family found us. But this 7 mo. old girl followed me everywhere AND navigated where I was heading and got there in lightning speed she’d be waiting for me. It was sweet till she got to the seat before I could sit down or zoomed underneath me when I was climbing into bed. It was sweet but CRAZY. She is soooo smart! We really miss her.😊

I have 2 cocker spaniels. My English Cocker, I rescued when she was about 1 year old. She is 10 years old. She use to follow me around the house. Up until this past June, she was the only dog. My husband and I rescued another Cocker, this time an American Cocker, male. I can't be out of his sight. If he is sleeping and I leave the room, he literally will cry until he finds me. Now, when it comes to the bathroom, my dogs and my 2 cats have to follow me into the bath room!!! I just love my fur baby's they are my everthing. The two dogs sleep in their own beds beside mine and my husband's bed.

Our boxer-pit, Athena, is obsessed with me! My husband rescued her as an abandoned stray pup when she was less than a year old. About a year later they met me. She was an anxious people pleaser from the start, and my hubby worked over the road so I had the pleasure of taking care of her when he was gone. She has since glued herself to me. I tease my husband that I only married him for his dog! Lol and she's the best friend I've ever had. She's so worried about me, I cannot even cry watching a movie without her big mutt head in my lap, pouting and whining at me. I never knew i needed her and I shudder to think what life will be like without her one day. Hold your pups tight, friends. It goes way too fast.💕

I have 4 dogs and they all follow me around! All 4 follow me to the bathroom at times but my Ladybug a beagle/collie mix will not let me out of her sight! I've had her since a puppy but she was about 4 mnths old when I got her, and didn't have the best start in life! Her first family didn't feed her correctly and kept her locked in the laundry room! So I ask them if I could have her and & they said yes,&we have been side by side ever since! Great video I subscribed!!

I have cocker spaniel and this is the same follow everywhere and sleep in the bed too. In fact tells me when it's time to go to bed and barks at me from the bed. No staying up too late!

Sometimes it is so much that I turn and say loudly -- omg stop stalking me you two -- ha as if...then sometimes I am in small kitchen doing food stuff, and they are so quiet just laying there, sleeping and I had no idea when they came in!!! This morning I am trying to get my dog to go outside to use the bathroom before I leave the house and she is locked in all day, she didn’t want to leave the bed, I had to force her my cat follows me when I leave the house, I have to keep him busy with treats, afraid he will get lost, I love them

Every poodle or poodle mix I’ve ever had follows me everywhere. Very loving very loyal creatures.And it’s ME in particular they DO follow everyone everywhere. They seem to pick the one they love the most. LOL.
