Before giving up on the boating/RV lifestyle I did when I first retired, I owned the original Clamshell and absolutely loved it. I wish I could say the same for my POS Ram Promaster conversion. Anyway, they sell nylon sandbags for tents that attach to the poles so if you have the room, they are a lot easier than driving stakes and they are dang near impossible to blow over. I also bought one of the folding camp mats made from recycled straws.

I suggest the big large Steaks w hook loop for easy removal. Sold at Walmart. Use small orange pool noodles on tie down strings , so u don't trip over one.

I live fulltime rv and just got one of these for my craft room. My issue is that the velcro strips do not hold up in the AZ wind. Waiting on bed sheet clips to see if that will keep them from flapping.
