Thank you for a helpful video. I was tinkering about for ages before finding your simple instructions. Just purchased a 2" punch because some badges need a bigger surface area than the 1.25 " I had already. Looking forward to creating new images.

You could. They would have to be thick magnets since the backs have an indentation.

I have a similar button maker from this company. I want to turn playing cards into buttons. I noticed on my first try that the plastic covers don't secure. I think this is because of the thickness of the cards. How can I fix this issue?

Interesting. I periodically have issues with the metal covers but the plastic ones work well for me. You could scan the cards and print on to a thinner gsm paper so you can make the buttons

Good question and I’m not sure. I did a quick search and didn’t see anything specific listed for this item. You could remove the pin after making the button and add magnet though. 🙂

Yes. You need magnet parts instead of pinback parts. Not sure if this brand has them, tecre machines do. Doesn’t look like tecre parts work with vevor though. The brand has to have the exact same dimensions and measurements.

Is the size (32mm/58mm) referring to the diameter of the finished button or the diameter of the paper/motive BEFORE pressing?

The 58mm metal don´t work with me, just close the circle in a part, the other come unfinished and i use that green circles

I used the paper that came with the machine but you should be able to use any type.
