VEVOR CAR REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER//DEMO

I recently picked up this refrigerator/freezer combo unit from Vevor. I wanted something to transport frozen food without worrying about it thawing and having to refreeze it. so far this unit is working out well. It's light enough to move out of the vehicle and into a hotel room if necessary. I also run it on my solar system in the van.

This unit says in the manual that this can be tipped up to 45 degrees and never have any issues. So it supposably is fine... I'm buying this exact cooler... I've done a TON of work looking reading about these... 😊

Here’s the mistake: if you would have checked on the internet, 0C is 32F. They put a minus by mistake. Thx for the review - I’m looking at those units for our dogs’ frozen raw food when we travel.

nice video, thank you. what is the insulation like? Does it keep its temperature overnight while its switched off? I'm thinking of getting (the smaller) one for off grid camping with solar panels and a leisure battery, so not power at night to charge the battery.

-32F is a typo....it should be +32F...that's the same as 0C. So basically, it should cool from +68F to +32F (or +20C to 0C) in 15 minutes....which it looks like it probably does.

These Vevor branded fridges are the same as Alpicool, Bodega, New Aire, etc. Common Chinese chassis fridges. His fridge in Australia is Oztrail. There's probably 100 different names for the same products worldwide. Seems the Vevor branded stuff has the best pricing. My sister has a plastic 58qt. It works. The temps are not accurate. But that seems to be the consensus among these cheapo 12v fridges.
