It does work, I've done with a wire hanger, also to find electrical wire under ground!

I tried it 40 years ago and it was amazing. I couldn’t hold the willow stick up at all. It moved downward with a real force. Amazing mystery. There was a spring right where it pointed.

My father was born in a farm in Italy , and he had the gift. He use to find water from the gardens or land for people in town. A family was watching my father searching in their garden , and when the stick moved the 6 Years old child got frightened and run away . Water was found in the exact place by the drilling company and a well was built

I got an Elk Mountain tent 13x20 September 2023. Horrible Tent! That 3/4 frame will collapse due to canvas weight. I set it twice up for a weekend trip that was the end for the 3/4 frame. Per the web site as of 2024 all tents will be shipped with 1” angles. Customer service did offer the 1” upgrade at retail price.. no thanks!

That's how I kinda do it, no wet brine; I crockpot it with salted water. Everything else I do is mostly similar, except. I drink my spirits 😅 not cook with it.

I know that beach! You worked hard and long to get those clams from that rocky ground. I bring home a 5 gal. bucket of seawater with a lid on it to soak them in.

And that inverter, I’m surprised is even working for you It’s for 6amps, and the saucepan is 12 amp draw I know this, cause I too bought this set up With the inverter powering it, I couldn’t get it to stay on And then I just plugged into my cigarette lighter by itself …. And It only smelled really bad when it started heating up. I immediately returned it

I'm a very skeptical person-and was given one of these fruit bearing Y branches and saw it for myself years ago. I couldn't believe that branch was twisting in my hands like it was-and hard! I mean, we all know trees know where water is/how to find it (that's why they love to grow straight through our pipes! LOL)...so it makes sense. It's just surprising that a CUT branch does it. Wild stuff.

Thanks for posting the warning at the beginning. Before you go cutting into an old drum, be damn sure the old contents were not flammable. Even a drum that seems empty can have enough vapors to explode. A guy in Iowa killed himself welding over an old barrel that he thought was empty, and there are a lot of other stories out there. Filling the drum with water can displace vapors if done correctly.

These work great but they leave a lot of sharp edges that you will need to grind down if it is used as a chip barrel that has many different hands on them.

I would be really curious to know how this works. The only scientific explanation I've read is that it's all bogus and voluntary or involuntary hand movements to make the twig move. But us that have actually tried it knows that you can hold the twig as hard as possible and it will still twist against itself, the bark will even come loose while you're trying to not let it move. I'm not going to claim I know you can find water or not, but there is something that make the twig being pushed down.

I had one when I was young for trapping. When the kids were grown and I got back to the woods I scored one then lost it in a fire. I taught myself to make them and now I'm stockpiling wood to use for a retirement hobby. Love the old stuff.

There's absolutely no scientific evidence that this process works and with him already having previous knowledge of where the water was it invalidates this test
@neithanm9 ай бұрын
You can't. We've done hundreds of large scale tests (oil people invested a lot of money doing theirs as well) with THE BEST dowsers/diviners in the world walking around with their devices, as many times as they want, over terrain under which there is already studied natural flow of water (or oil for those that do that). They do their thing, each has its own whacky method, as long as they need, and they mark the spots. Then reviewers outside the experiment analyze the predictions against the paths of water and clearly conclude that the closest predictions do NO BETTER than pure chance, most being worse than chance logically. Funniest thing is the excuses they come up with to explain why they failed. Pyschological studies have explained this and other superstitious phenomena very easily: we never forget a hit but forget or excuse away all the misses; as simple as that, it's deceptively easy to fool oneself.
