Vevor Endoscope Camera Unboxing and Review

I recently bought a Teslong endoscope to help with some underdash restoration work on my ‘69 Chevelle SS. Specifically, I replaced the factory idiot gauges with the Dakota Digital HDX series gauges. I think I paid $175 for the endoscope and well worth the $ and a nice addition to my toolbox.

I’ve just owned the cheap ones in the past. This was my first good one and what an amazing upgrade. For sure it’s a must have tool!

I have also discovered Vevor. I got their plasma cutter and it is compact and comes with all accessories to get started. Unfortunately I have not been able to test it out and my first test will be cutting my Wrangler frame for the slip on/weld on repair pieces, an acid test for sure. I am pleased with what I have inspected and it should be capable of more than a Jeep frame. It will get use. Sorry for a no report on this but to date, every purchase I have seen, the complaints are pretty much non-existent. I am stunned at the diversity of their products. BTW, I called them and got answers very quickly. Try doing that with most corporations.

I’ve was impressed with this scope. Have a few more things I’ll likely try from them. Haven’t heard any complaints on them yet. High end off shore products!

My vevor came with the screen upside down, and its not the camera, its the actual screen, i think they messed it up in the factory or something

If the lens resolution is better than the display resolution,(which it is) wouldn’t the footage be clearer on a better monitor?

That’s not a question I could answer. I’d imagine it’s what the software can capture and the type of SD used.

I got it and it works. Like an idiot, I cleaned it and stuck it in my ear to check out the ear wax. Obviously it doesn't focus on anything that close and just show a blurry picture, but it was interesting. It probably focuses on anything at least 2 inches away for farther. The resolution is ok, better than some more expensive borescopes I've tried. The tricky part in using any of these is to keep the orientation right side up. The 2 side cameras sorta help, but knowing which say is up is hard sometimes. I'd recommend it as better than nothing, but I'd recommend something more professional if you're doing it for real actual work.

Its amazing that you get a better camera if you spend a little more money. 😆 I’ve only been buying the cheap junk till I got this one. Worth the extra few bucks!

I bought one it worked 15 to 20 seconds and am now fighting with Vevor to get it replaced or refunded , the lady i spoke to in Australia was eating nuts while talking to me at the same time as trying to fix the problem so don't expect much in customer service from them.

Only has one issue with something I bought from them. They sent me a replacement right away. Guess you never know how you’ll get treated.
