@demonzabrak Жыл бұрын
JUST TO BE CONTRARY: a lot of ghost lore has them generate electromagnetic frequencies, the classic “EMF Reader” trope, right? Wifi is also an electromagnetic frequency, so technically a wireless monitor needs to have a wifi receiver, and therefore can have static if the ghost generates wifi like signal ranges and is the strongest emitter to the receiver (or only source). Obviously doesn’t work for wired monitors.
@avnitro4650 Жыл бұрын
@@demonzabrak I like the contrary thinking. I just have a correction to offer. While, yes, what you said will work for radio signals, for Wi-Fi, it likely will not. A radio receiver just absorbs all signals and tries to decode them into useable information. Wi-Fi, on the other hand, is a connection that is specifically set up between two devices. The communication over Wi-Fi works using IP-based traffic, just like over the Internet. This means that the messages have to have a very specific format, otherwise they simply won't be accepted by the IP protocol. If you introduce a lot of noise, like you suggested a ghost might do, the best it can do is jam the connection, preventing network traffic from reaching its destination. However, it will not suddenly create new valid IP messages to send over that communication link, and will therefore NOT generate static.
@demonzabrak Жыл бұрын
@@avnitro4650 so I’m not 100% sure how IP broadcasting works, I always assumed it was essentially an electronic timing system, but my knowledge of this area started back in 2010 when the army sent me to Fort Huachuca in New Mexico to become my infantry company’s TEWO, or Tactical Electronic Warfare Operations specialist. 90% of my job responsibilities were to know how to add the timing to various devices, know what set of flashing lights meant what on the diagnostic tools, and to forget a bunch of stupid wattage numbers and frequencies for specific things because it’s “classified.” If I remembered what the Spruce wattage and coverage range was and I told people, I could technically be arrested. So I never memorized any of it. Fuck that. The other stuff wasn’t. These were things like “the practical application of the square-cube rule,” where the scale of a change in a linear direction has a scale^2 change in surface area and ^3 change in volume, right? An emitter at 100 watts measured at 10 feet will measure at 25 watts at 20 feet, as the area it needs to cover doubles along both dimensions. If you did 3x as far, it would be 1/3^2, or 1/9. 4x makes 1/16th the power, etc. if you make a model of yourself that’s 1/2 scale, it’s total volume is 1/8 yours, or 1/2^3. That whole thing. Now, Electronic attack devices like jammers work on the principle that, even if something uses custom timing, like our gear does, or a garage door opener with a paired emitter-receiver strapped to an IED, if you scream random bullshit on every frequency during every possible timing, it still blocks out the devices communication. Does any of that info change your assessment on if a ghost could static out the monitors? I still don’t know shit about how IP addresses work, but now maybe you know a little more about how jamming works?
@demonzabrak Жыл бұрын
@@avnitro4650 forgot a bit: to be clear, what I mean is “every time I have experienced an audio or video tool being jammed, it results in static, so if a ghost jams the signal it maybe still makes static?”
@avnitro4650 Жыл бұрын
@@demonzabrak Oh, that's all very interesting, hearing about your own experiences. From what I can tell, you mainly worked with radio-based communication. Those signals, along with WiFi and Bluetooth, can be jammed in the way you described. Screaming random bullshit, as you put it, is a very effective way to jam communication channels. And this extends to wireless communication using IP addresses, like over WiFi. However, jamming the signal isn't the same as causing static to appear on the other side. If you're on the receiving end of an IP-based transmission, and the communication is jammed, it'll be like you don't have an Internet connection. You've probably experienced it yourself without realizing. Ever watched a KZbin video while the Internet suddenly cut out, and you have to wait for the rest of the video to load? That's basically what happens. The communication will simply not get through.

This world is rapidly passing away and I hope that you repent and take time to change before all out disaster occurs! Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36) if you believed in Messiah you would be following His commands as best as you could. If you are not a follower of Messiah I would highly recommend becoming one. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life - Revelation 3:20. Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13 over the course of 1260+ years. Revelation 17 confirms that the beast is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God. Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!

"Everyone come to the gym today and do some boxing" reminds me of a research lab I used to work in. One of our grants came from a charity, so the charity would give tours to patients every now and then. Every time a tour group came through, my boss would be like "ok, everyone needs to work in the lab today and look busy." But since the tour group always got in front of the fridges and stuff, I'd just sit at the bench pipetting water into tubes to make it look like I was doing science.

A colleague of mine was checking the CCTV camera footage and he saw something moving across a CCTV camera that was installed at the fire exit staircase behind the building. Something that blurry and some said it look like a spirit or something. People rarely use that staircase, though I use it a lot because it was a closer route to the canteen/cafeteria from the top floor office. Plus my office was in another building behind that office building. So long story short, after close inspection of the footage and the site, we conclude it probably some tiny insect or spider that make it's web very close to the camera lens. Though gotta be honest, at first it was really scary to think there could be something supernatural in there. I used that staircase alone most of the time.

I could watch an hour of Sam and Niko debunking paranormal, cryptid, UFO, and VFX videos. This content is very entertaining but also very important since there are so many fake videos online that too many people believe are real. The CorridorCrew should take a look at the Skinny Bob videos. Many people believe the videos are real even though they look CG to myself and others. There seems to be a mix of CG, filters, possible puppetry or mo-cap, miniatures (saucer), and historical footage with compositing used which would make the Skinny Bob videos perfect for this channel to make a video on. If I'm not mistaken the film grain and old footage effect used are stock and possibly from Sapphire Film Damage for BorisFX software. There are more clues indicating that the Skinny Bob videos are not real yet so many people on Reddit believe they are.

Considering this is a gym, I wouldn't be surprised if this dude was just really good at physical control and miming. Even the part where he slides from the point he fell over to the left, seems like it could have been done by pushing with his right arm, as its held closer to his body rather flailing like the rest of his limbs. In fact, you can see that when hes supposedly getting pulled further back by the leg, his body moves back left before the foot hes being pulled by does, its still pointed right. Ghost or wire, his foot should always be pointed in the direction his body is being pulled.
