ItzMeeeNeo Yeah my thoughts :) If Inkling does a fair on Links shield, the grab will always whiff, which sucks! I main Link, and I rarely use normal grab, since it wont reach anything. I think they should buff the grab so it works properly, nothing more

like yes, but no. If you think it link's grab in smash 4 kinda suck. It had long range but aloooooot of endlag now link's grab is ultra fast. I fell that its best to have a fast grab than a long grab

El mero mero I mained Link in smash 4 and that version of link(Twilight Princess) was better suited with the tether grab! I agree with you, if Link missed his grab in Smash 4, he got punished! But when you get used to how the tether grab worked, it was not that of a problem anymore! You could do some cool things, such as grab Cloud of his limit Cross Slash :) Links grab in Ultimate is frame 6, the fastest grab in the game! But it shouldn’t whiff so easy! Marth/Lucinas grab works fine and theirs are also frame 6! Sure Link has projectiles and such, but his grab should just work properly, for example with Inkling in the video :)

As a lowly link main I cannot figure out what Salem is trying to do with his bombs. I generally only use them as a mixup or edge guard. I know there is tech for attacking with items but he's still not using any of that.

It looks like the bombs are mostly baby sitting. The bomb being near you is a threat that makes you play differently. If he can get the explosion, great, but for the most part it's just about having the threat there.

Just getting pelted by that 1% bomb over and over, messing up your inputs gets annoying. I like using it to make people use a standing still f tilt when they meant to use running attack. Not detonating it also makes the opponent have to retreat because they can't shield forever or they'll be grabbed.

Actually it's the best skin in a competitive standpoint. She's covered in flashy yellow and black which makes it harder for the opponent to see her movement through the ink bomb explosion. Also when the opponent is inked himself, it can be confusing in the close combat. Also also she's probably French.
