Crimson SSB the combo works on floaty characters, which rosalina is one. This combo doesn't work in fast fallers, which is very dominant in the competitive scene.

showmelights Honestly I was surprised he didn't bust out Olimar. I couldn't imagine MK/Olimar or Mewtwo/Olimar would be worse than even. Neither are rush down oriented types that give Olimar trouble with his zoning. Also Olimar is really small so you'd think MK's up air up B strings would be tough to land on him. This set should have been 3-0 but Aba SD'ed twice, honestly it wasn't even remotely close otherwise.

The patch made it so you have to DI up-b differently, and the MK has to DI the same way his opponent does or else he'd be out of range. It basically makes it so you cant get kill combos with multiple uairs, or at least really hard since both players have to hold the same direction.

from my experience, when you're close to the ledge, it's not worth it. ive seen sebrik, mr.r, tyrant, and abadango lose sets from doing that. and most of the time, the opponent has enough hit stun and are launched high enough that they cant punish it if you grab ledge

I haven't seen him use heaps of different characters but the ones i have seen him use other than Rosaluma, such as Olimar, also benefit most from a patient playstyle. I mean i really do understand that it might not be the most hype to watch for some, but there is no denying that he does more than simple "camping" and actually employs a lot of skill and intelligence to his play, which is how he got to his level.
