More and more people are maining fox than any other character right now, and the fact that armada had to switch to fox from his trademark peach just goes to show how much fox is dominating the metagame. Sure people still use Marth, Samus, ice climbers, etc, but fox is by far the most used and most viable character in melee right now.

@@wondrousparrot2815 armada was only best because floaties are way more tournament consistent than spacies, it's almost impossible to SD in comparison. mango used to destroy armada in the fox ditto, watch their battle of the 5 gods set where he switches him onto peach when both of them used to play floaties (puff peach), mango used to win. when both of them played spacies, mango won. the only time armada had the edge was peach vs spacies armada's still the GOAT of course, but there's no way he could just switch to Falcon or Marth like Mango can, mango is the goat of secondaries (followed by m2k and plup)
