Hi Jamie, thx. Was a gamechanger the rear wing. Even i had it just at a mild ~5° AoA. In fast corners and braking much more stable. For slower speed tracks i can put it in a steeper angle up to 18° AoA if i just add a little gurney and it can double the downforce to what i had now, approx 60kg. Rear springs were compressed ~10mm more compared to old at 210km/h. Nothing else changed just the wing added.

I'm currently building an 1.6 8v TU engine in the same "idea", everything custom, goal 200hp and 10K rpm. But i have a question about your build, what cranking compression do you have in bar/psi ? One hillclimb season, let's say depending on the type and length of races at least ~15 races no problem.

@@VHTRacing Ah so longer than I expected. Whats *usually* involved with a typical rebuild when youre doing it this frequently? Ie: Is there something that usually breaks / is weak, or predominantly just resealing the engine / replacing bearings, is any of the hardware in particular stretching more than others (head bolts, rod bols, main bolts, whatever)? Etc. Do you by any chance log WOT time, and know roughly how many hours your getting out of the engine across those races? And a huge thank you by the way- Im looking to build a pretty extreme engine in the near future, so im gathering as much information as possible. Theres not many people ACTUALLY running them to this degree, so filtering through forum hear-say is difficult.

Hi Mikko, ist der neue Heckspoiler nur für die Rundstrecke oder fährst Du den auch am Berg? Du hattest ja den Andreas Lanz auch in Deiner Klasse. Ein schöner AE86 und noch nicht allzu sehr verbastelt. Er hat bloß ein paar PS weniger wie Du. Leider fährt er nicht mehr am Berg.

Ja wir fahren natürlich auch am Berg mit diese neue Flügel. Es war nur meine erste Möglichkeit es zu testen am NBR. Ich habe kurz mit Andreas auch besprochen, schade hat am Ende kein Zeit mehr zu reden.

Nee, wir haben doch in extreme klasse gefahren. Dann kann man mit richtige Slicks usw. fahren. Wir haben nur gegen 1000ps Autos dann gefahren, aber egal war mehr eine Test für uns mit neue Flügel und noch 7 Platz mit sehr schlechtes rund war komisch.. :D

Sitä pähkäilin kun mallailin ja koska tuo siiven korkeus on sääntöjen maksimi se lippa tulis liian ylös ja lähelle. Optimi olisi sellainen ohjain mikä pyöristäisi tuota katon kulmaa niin, että virtaus kääntyisi mahdollisimman paljon alas eikä irtoaisi tuosta katon reunasta heti.
