Welcome back to The Viall Files: Going Deeper Edition! Today we are joined by Vanderpump Rules’ Lala Kent to talk about all things Season 10, drama with castmates, and her ongoing relationship with Randall. Where does she stand in her custody battle, what advice does she have for other women, and which castmates have been the most helpful or harmful? We get all of the answers. We then have a Texting Office Hours caller who found out that the guy she slept with actually has a girlfriend and a child, and isn’t sure if or how to reach out and let her know.
“There are going to be times when your voice is all you have. Don’t let them take it from you.”

@buffybot5787
@buffybot5787 Жыл бұрын
It’s true and I isn’t. Kids ARE more resilient in the moment to bounce back from things and to move on through big life changes because they are used to everything changing apace with them as they grow so fast. Adults are much more stuck in their ways and their realities and have a harder time coping when big things come along and unseat them. Yes kids might be left with some trauma that comes out later on but the same can be said for adults too 🤷🏼‍♀️ Children are resilient and they do recover quicker than adults from most things because it’s the nature of their existence.

My husband calls me in the middle of the day every day for the past 8 years. He has a job and actually runs his own business. But he will always find time in his work day to call me and if I call him he will always pick up or call me back as soon as he can. Having time in the middle of the day to call someone is still possible when you’re working a full time job if you really care about someone. I am a lawyer and I find time to call my husband in between meetings and reviewing contracts. If I’m in the office, I’ll even go into a conference room just to call him in privacy. We talk and text multiple times during the day when we’re working, even though we will always see each other at the end of the day when we’re both home. It’s something I love about him. Sometimes he just calls to check up on me and the dog lol.

Lala completely missed the mark when Nick said that friendships in L.A. are based off of convenience....She wants her friends to ask how she's doing and care about her life but she herself burns bridges if her friends "don't add to her life" or "suck her soul dry" when she's around them. Does she not realized that she's doing to others exactly what she doesn't want done to her? She's literally proving Nick right, she's "burning bridges" because she finds it inconvenient to deal with other people's issues, but she wants them to care about hers 🤨. She's right, she's not a good friend, because that seems totally one sided.

Both I ended up the one that was seen as a liar. The one with the 3 children my husband saw them too and suggested I tell her. But they didn’t blame him. I didn’t know the first one I met and knew for only a week. Ended it when I found out. And I was soooo kind to both women. Told them having complete empathy and didn’t stay over involved. But wow would I do it again. Idk. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm not American but I visit LA every couple of years and I find it completely hysterical that the response to the rapidly growing homeless crisis going on in LA was to change the terminology from homeless to unhoused, so on brand for California! It's the most meaningless and empty response imaginable, I assure you no homeless person is concerned with what word you're using to convey their living situation but would rather some form of action is taken to help them remedy it. Great for Dave Grohl, that is such a wonderful thing to do.

I am telling u Virgos are a blessing men n women. Their real no sugar coating n will be loyal to no fault even if they don't agree they will tell u but still have ur back like real ppl should. They say if u have nvr slept with a Virgo or had a friend that's a Virgo ur missing out. They lead with all heart n love n their gut feelings are spot on n I am a Virgo fan! Love LaLa n LVP both Virgo's even Beyonce is a Virgo, alot of the greats are Virgos.

This is dangerous advice, telling the wife can be very harmful depending on the guy and situation. You can always do it anonymously or wait some time so he doesn’t know it’s you?? Idk then she might not believe it

"I don't associate with weakness" God forbid anyone in your life shows vulnerability or "weakness." You all have been that person yet love to aim at the weaker link. You think you're the alpha, but you're just a bully.

Meh, she’s not a bully, she just doesn’t want to associate with weak ass cowards that bend because they don’t want to be unpopular rather than stand their ground and do the right thing. Weakness to her I believe is NOT OWNING your shit and weaseling out of it with bullshit excuses. I think Lala respects people that own their weaknesses and actively WORK on those weaknesses rather than deny that they have any .

@Pixy Mixy meh, being weak isn't something any therapist would refer to anyone as. Enough with the alpha shit.

Nice to see LaLa Kent does have a strong moral compass. I realize this as she talks about feeling guilty about bringing Ocean into a conflicted relationship. I like her, but I do wish she'd be more private with her sexuality. Ocean is likely going to view the tv shows and be embarrassed about her mother's lack of privacy and liberalness. I know that's me being judgmental, but for me no matter what people's sexuality should be private publicly. It's not a problem talking among a small group of friends who you are intimate with, but not for the world to know so much.
