Bartise was the only one on a rollercoaster, trying to figure out in his own mind if he could live the rest of his life with a woman he was only somewhat physically attracted to. Nancy was not a rollercoaster, she was all in, giving nothing but grace time after time. It was downright cruel to: get permanent bracelets, talk like she was going to for sure be your wife, talk about your future children and future life together and continuously lead her on when that's not actually where you were. Having reservations and thoughts isn't bad in itself, but not letting her into YOUR reality of a rollercoaster, Cruel.

The biggest thing I feel with the Cole & Zanab situation is that if someone says something that triggers you, like “save your appetitooo” Then you should communicate that. Say that comments like that bother you because you are self conscious already. Instead she was passive aggressive. If you don’t communicate what bothers you, your partner won’t know and then resentment occurs and then you act out on that resentment which is what Zanab did with her passive aggressive, cold and critical energy. They just didn’t communicate at all and it’s not Cole’s fault like she portrayed it to be. Yes he called her a 9/10 instead of a 10/10 but he did apologize and tried to make things better, called her beautiful multiple times. Her self confidence was already damaged coming into this show unfortunately Wish them both the best.

YES especially when he really did seem to be someone who wasn’t trying to purposefully hurt anyone. People can’t read minds and no one can change and grow if they don’t even know what’s wrong. With issues like Zanab’s, nothing Cole did would have been good (or great 😓) enough anyway because she would have always found something somewhere to hurt her. I hope she realizes that there is help to get if one is open to self-reflecting too and stops trying to smear someone else’s name, and that Cole can move on from this learning from his mistakes but without believing he is a bad person at his core.

Then you end up avoiding people bc you feel like you’ll just hurt them. He did in fact, avoid dating, which is a sign he likely took that damage.

i definitely agree that Zanab and Cole both had their faults and insecurities going into the relationship and absolutely brought out the worst in each other. I would have loved to see some accountability held on both sides as well. As a fellow South Asian woman of color, I think it's also important to talk about the insecurities that come with being a brown woman amidst a white-dominated space - which i feel like a lot of discussions leave out when talking about the dynamics between the two! That adds another layer to things and how Zanab might have shown up in that space too. I appreciate how her stepmom brought that to Cole's attention, that she might be wondering to herself: "am I good enough because I am not white?" or "will he like me because of my skin color?"

Something I don’t understand is why we keep talking about the level of honesty versus them putting themselves in that situation in the first place. Like Bartise tried to put Raven in that situation and she shut it down real quick but Colleen fell into the trap. There will always be tests in relationships but it’s how you handle them that matters and Bartise, Cole and Colleen didn’t need to put themselves in any of those situations. I was critical of Raven for the splitting the rent comment, and while I still stand by my point of view on that in terms of my own life, I do think that whatever works for their relationship is their prerogative. I commend her for staying true to herself and I have become an absolute Raven stan. Raven and SK are the absolute best and I wish them nothing but love and happiness. Also, Nancy is so beautiful and truly inspiring. She is so sure of herself and what she brings to the table. She never let Bartise's comments about her appearance change the way she views herself. No matter what you look like if you are in a romantic relationship with someone who is critical of your physical appearance that can be extremely damaging. I strive to have a level of confidence where something like that wouldn't affect me. She's beautiful and she knows it, as she should.

Batiste was obviously not attracted to Nancy from the onset. After the conversation with Nancy he did everything the show expected him to say and to do. That doesn't mean he's immature, he knew all along Nancy was not his choice. They are stuck in this bubble and every one is throwing the love word around and adding sex to the mix without a foundation can only reap disaster. The only mature and thoughout relationship on the show was that of Raven and SK. He refused to be pressured into making a decision he wasn't prepared for. Re: Raven- I didn’t understand the issue with wanting SK to be an equal partner and helping with half the financial responsibility. It was more that it felt unfair while he’s in school. I feel like she needs to do better as a person and stick up for herself and not others in situations she knows nothing about. How are you a warrior for others and not urself? I honestly felt really bad for cole in the last episode and reunion. I don’t think he deserved that humiliation. I think zenab put too much weight in his words and he’s really just very immature and not ready for a marriage. I don’t think he deserved the criticism he got from some people. The only bad thing Cole did in anyone’s eyes who has common sense, is be a male. Why was it okay for Zenab to put down Cole CONSTANTLY and hurt HIS self-confidence, attempt to completely damage his reputation, yet the small sarcastic jokes Cole made to make light of her constant tense energy were blown up? If we’re going to have gender equality - then make it equal.

I think it was innocent, natural curiosity. They had dated like 2 days before. (He would have been happier together I think. However, Colleen still likes to party and drink. Cole for all his goofing around is serious in his intentions.

Zen 100% knew what she was going to say to Cole. She built him up and then pulled the rug from under him at the altar. That doesn’t just dawn on you in the moment-that’s well thought out. Also she completely exaggerated the “Cuties” convo. She was already eating something and then grabbed the cuties so Cole was just telling her there was a big meal for dinner meaning to save her appetite. She does have self image issues and I think she only hears what she already thinks badly about herself no matter what is actually said. Cole was immature but we knew from the jump him being a 25yo and all. I didn’t think he meant to be hurtful he’s just immature and brutally honest no filter and needs to learn and grow. His bipolar comment wasn’t ok but overall Zen was much worse towards him blaming him for all her insecurities which she already had before him.

I don't know how Cole acted off camera...but I totally have told my dad (for instance) not to snack too much b/c I'm making or we're going out to an epic meal...and mutual enjoyment & discussion is part of the value of that nice meal. And effort went into choice/thoughtfulness, reservations, cost etc. He may have gaslit when not seen...but he OFFERED her the poke bowl...then WANTED her to enjoy a BIG meal. Obviously didn't want her to starve (idk his body type preference but Colleen called her & Matt "short & stubby."...soo. Cole was shocked by Zenab's lack of eating. I think there was codependency & blaming of how she conducted herself PERHAPS based on the score thing. Or for EX insecurity of her skin color as her stepmom stated she was insecure.

I'm 6 minutes in but I really hope this episode isn't another Cole bashing. It was over the top at the reunion and uncalled for I just watched the Love is Blind reunion and I'm guessing there's alot of people who didn't watch the cuties clip. Cole was not perfect - but Zanab was definitely misinterpreting what was said. Which leads me to believe there's probably a lot more she misinterpreted as well. I hate when someone comments on my eating habits, but what was added as "un-aired receipts" at the end of the reunion was not the drama level I was expecting. I also don't get the ick from Cole that I did from Shake with Deepti from the previous season. I actually had high hopes for Bartise and thought he was the worst by the end. Cole just gave me the impression of a clueless boy but could grow and learn-- which is what Zenab thought and was trying to hold on to his good points so she could say yes at the alter. I think Cole is genuinely regretful for his less than stellar moments and loved Zenab. He was bullied for her insecurities and projections. (Bartise with Nancy?. Nancy deserved better.) While I emphasize with Zenab, I could also see why Cole thought she was too critical of him. They just weren't a good match once out of the pods. I wish the other couples the best and commend the show for taking on heavy topics like abortion and life stuff in general-- which hardly ever gets addressed on reality dating/marrying shows

I think Nancy is a sweetheart, and she deserves love, but at the same time, I feel like she also needs to take a look at herself and take some of her own advice about growing and self-love… I understand, wanting to be married and wanting to be in love with your partner, but there also has to be boundaries and self-awareness… She disregarded a lot of red flags and was in denial about a lot of things, I guess we can only go by what we seen, but there was a pattern and this isn’t a basher, but it is important to not repeat the same habits and dynamic in each relationship, and hopefully in the next one, she will be more self-aware, and have boundaries with her partner, and hold her partner more accountable… She deserves more than what she got from Bartise!
